Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location was great, close to restaurants and shops as well as close to the state park and other trails. Both screen doors were broken and the thermostat was not able to keep the bottom floor and main floor at consistent temperatures. Listing said kayak and canoe available- no canoe, we tried the grey Ozark kayak and it filled water- my 72 year old dad tipped over and had to push it back to the dock in the water. The kayak looks like a sad attempt at patching holes was made. It should not be there for people to use. Needs to be disposed of. Reached out to the host and didn’t hear anything. The water traffic was busy on weekend with lots of boats. FYI- Public boat ramp around the corner. If you have a boat you can easily boat to Bridgewater for dinner.
