  • Maison neuve pour 2009 de location! 4 chambres, 3 salles de bain multiniveaux salon avec la conception universelle au niveau inférieur. Tout mobilier flambant neuf et sélectionné par l'architecte d'intérieur. Plan de l'étage ouvert avec 3 grandes chambres, 2 salles de bains, un séjour avec cheminée en pierre, cuisine spacieuse et salle à manger ainsi que buanderie et cellier. 3 ensembles de portes patio sortant à grande terrasse surplombant crique tranquille. Canapé avec TV grand écran dans la zone de la famille et de la télévision dans toutes les chambres sauf chambre avec lits superposés. Niveau inférieur a un bar, d'un réfrigérateur, une grande télévision w / surround et salle de jeux. Chambre du bas a queen et 2 lits simples, parfait pour beaux-parents ou de la famille séparée. Niveau inférieur a une couvertes portes de terrasse et patio menant à une chambre et une salle de jeux. Une promenade en béton courte mène à la belle eau profonde, sans sillage crique. Dock accueille Tiki bar, terrasse ombragée, terrasse et le quai flotteur. Accueil très proche de pont, shopping, et les tournées.


    Détente et élégant: grand verre portes-fenêtres et fenêtres ajoutent sensation ouvert à la fois au niveau supérieur et inférieur. Une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac dans le confort de canapés ou à l'extérieur de détente sur les terrasses. Immense salle de jeux en bas avec table de billard et de ping-pong pour le divertissement. TV grand écran dans l'étage salon ainsi que TV grand écran en bas avec son surround et 3 confortable, cuir, canapés de salon pour réunion de famille. Tout le mobilier de marque de qualité nouvelle et supérieure étant sélectionné par un designer intererior de Stedman Maison, Roanoke. Beaux planchers de bois franc dans l'étage le long avec des comptoirs en granit dans la cuisine et salles de bains.

    Isolé mais proche de tout: Le Frances est situé sur une eau profonde, aucune crique de suite avec très peu de propriétés environnantes. Il est parfait pour une famille, amusement, sortir avec beaucoup d'activités nautiques ou profiter du soleil. Endroit calme est excellent pour la pêche et l'observation de la nature. Toutefois, pour ceux qui sont agités, il ya beaucoup d'activités à proximité. Hales Ford Bridge est juste autour du coin et offre bateau et location de jet ski ainsi que putt-putt, vie nocturne, des restaurants et des commerces. Les villes de Bedford, Lynchburg, et Roanoke sont tous dans un court trajet en voiture. Le Monument commémoratif de la Seconde Guerre mondiale est à Bedford et les Peaks of Otter montagnes sont à la périphérie. Plusieurs vignobles et les vergers sont à proximité.

    Level Design Basse: Le niveau inférieur a été terminé basé sur une conception universelle. Un couloir privé conduit à partir de cette chambre à la salle de bain afin que les occupants ne doivent pas entrer dans la zone de la salle de jeu. Le lot en pente douce vers le lac et dispose d'un trottoir en béton à court menant à la zone du quai. Couverte, zone ombragée permet de visionner des activités sans être au soleil. Tiki bar avec réfrigérateur garde des boissons et des aliments dans un accès facile.

Wonderful House-Wonderful Memories

This is our third time renting this house and we still love everything about it. Spacious rooms, hot tub, and a dock we practically live on during the day. Our grandkids have learned the love of fishing, kayaking, and boating here and of course the memories. I’m sure a fourth visit will be in our future.

Great fun on SML

Our extended family had a great week at smith mountain lake! The house had plenty of room to spread out, downstairs ping pong, air hockey, and pool table were a hit for kids and adults. Easy pontoon boat rental next to Jake’s is reachable by owner-provided canoe or kayak, very convenient!

Beautiful home

This home is beautiful and in a peaceful cove. We loved the lay out of the house and there is lots of rooms for a large family. Jake's restaurant is in the same cove and they are great. The only negative would be that the owners need to update the pictures because those are from 2009 and there is no lake view from the deck.

Beautiful setting

The house has many amenities for easy living. It is close to the Food Lion shopping center and the Route 122 bridge. Unfortunately, the air hockey game was broken. Otherwise, the house and grounds are comfortable and scenic. (Taking the trash bags to the dump is a chore, though, I do understand why it has to be done.) A lot bigger than the pictures indicate.

Family vacation

The house was beautiful and very clean the kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to enjoy a week at the lake. The grandkids enjoyed the pool table and the ping pong table unfortunately the air hockey game didn’t work. The only negative is the campers across the cove were very loud not the peaceful cove I was expecting. Chuck the picture on line show a view of the water from the house unfortunately the tree and bushes are overgrown to the point it’s very difficult to see the lake from the house. Overall we have a wonderful time and looking forward to returning in the future.

Great Location, beautiful home

Pros - This home is located in a great spot with a quiet cove and is only about 300 yards across from Jake's Place restaurant. Short, 15 min drive to Bridgewater plaza by car. Easy in and out location to the main channel if you have a boat. Really liked having 2 kings for 2 adult couples, a bunk room which had amazingly comfortable mattresses, and a basement room ideal for teens. Lots of fun was had with the pool table, ping pong, kayaks, canoe, and fishing off the dock. The hot tub was great for relaxing in the evenings. Bathrooms were clean. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Cons - A lot of SML properties don't provide linens or towels but this was the first time out of more than 20 rentals that I chose to bring our own. Won't do that again as it was a pain. Use the linen service instead. Listed as no pets allowed which was a deciding factor in booking over another property, but we swept the kitchen floor and made a quite a pile of black dog hair. A quick clean of the downstairs created an even larger pile. The two teens who slept in the basement were so bad after 2 nights we needed an urgent care visit and steroids were prescribed. The 2 pre-teens who slept upstairs were fine. Two of the 4 adults struggled a bit as well. So we spent most of our time outside after the first few days which was fine. Overall, it's a great property.

Wonderful Experience

House was lovely and perfect for a family vacation. Kids had a blast fishing and playing with the water toys. Adults enjoyed the family time. It was wonderfully relaxing. Convenient location to Marina’s and grocery. Chuck reached out to us to make sure everything was good to go! Would highly recommend.

Pictures do not do this house justice!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Very spacious and well kept property! Located in a great cove for swimming and relaxing! We enjoyed our week on the lake and appreciate the use of your lovely home!

Quiet Cove and Boat Friendly

Had a great vacation with our family- the house was clean and well kept! Enjoyed grilling out, playing pool, and relaxing in the hot tub. The 2 large entertainment areas upstairs and downstairs with sectionals were great for conversation, board games, and TV. Boat friendly - we used Hales Ford Boat Ramp about 15-20 minutes away to put in and pull out of the water, and tied up to the floating dock at the house during our stay. House is at the end of a cove in a no-wake zone, so no problems with docking in the water. Restaurant with docking and on-water ethanol free gas are very close in the same cove. Bridgewater plaza is a short boat ride away and has plenty of restaurants, shopping, and activities!

Great location, great property!

We were very impressed with this property. The driveway is very steep but it did cut down on the walk to the dock/lake which we appreciated. The walkway to the dock was great also as it was stone and graded. We appreciated having electricity and the mini fridge at the dock as well. Jake's Place which is right around the corner (on the water) from the house and a great restaurant to visit. We had plenty of space for everyone and the house was gorgeous! The downstairs was huge and very open with lots of gaming choices to keep everyone happy. We also appreciated having access to the garage for a place to keep groceries and extra lake things. Lastly the house is centrally located with easy access to Food Lion and Bridgewater Plaza.

Wonderful Lake Getaway!

We had such a great time during our week at this property. I couldn't believe how huge the dock was, table and chairs and recliners and everything. We hung out in the dock in the shade, or floated in the sun. We rented a boat and were able to find great skiing right outside of the no wake zone. They even provided kayaks, and just down the cove we saw egrets, deer, turtles and all kinds of birds. At night the kids enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and ping pong, there was plenty of space to spread out and something for everyone. The kitchen was well laid out and very functional. There was a nice outdoor table (under cover) for family outdoor meals and also a big table indoors if it was too hot. A/C worked great, beds were comfy, bathrooms were nice, owner was responsive to questions. No complaints!

Wonderful summer break

Wonderful house/property! Chuck and Samantha were great to communicate with and very helpful. We had three separate families throughout the week and the layout of the house is very conducive for either everyone being together or for splitting into different groups at times. Being in the wake free cove is so nice for activities right off the dock (SUP, kayak/canoe, swimming and fishing). But the end of the no wake zone is only a few minutes away. Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful! And very large. We look forward to many more vacations at the property!!!

Wonderful home, great location

Beautiful kitchen, lovely cove, clean and lots of activities. There was enough room for the family to spread out and have a great time together. Location was good, close to shops and restaurants but also very private and peaceful, definitely recommend.

Great location, Great space!

We stayed in September of 2020. The house is beautiful and well-appointed. We noticed the care taken to decorate and care for this property. We were delighted that it was spacious and immaculate. Everything we needed for our stay was available (with the exception of a hand mixer...we purchased an inexpensive one and after use, left it for future guests). This is a lovely home that is well cared for and very comfortable. If you have a large family and a small group, this house is perfect for your getaway! Thank you to the Vailes Family for making this home available and for your immediate caring response when contacted! We hope to be back again...

Beautiful, fun stay for social distancing.

House was wonderful. Location was perfect for us. Wildlife was abundant. Owners were very responsive to questions. Grill was definitely cleaner when we left than when we came. Boat house full of ants, needs to be sprayed, but not a problem. Only issue was that the final cleaning asks were a bit much when paying a cleaning fee (vacuum, clean granite, stainless and windows for finger prints).
