« Just returned from a short break up in north Wales having stayed at Tŷ Tabitha Wynne. The communication up to and during the stay was great from Fliss and we felt very welcome upon arrival. The house has had a lot of love put into it and it’s great that the original features and building methods have been preserved. The house is well equipped and cosy. I had to work for one of my days away and the wifi allowed me to do video calls back to the office. There are stunning walks close by and some...

« Amazing! Helens' cottage is beautiful. A hidden gem, exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious ,clean ,and everything you need is there and all good quality. Don't let the 4ft bed put you off, it's so comfy and you'd be missing out on a fantastic break. It's peaceful, amazing views, walks. Only a short walk to Llangollen, such a pretty town. "My stay in Moxy Chester was ok. I was unfortunately located on 1st floor right above the gym. The gym often puts reaallly loud music from 8am (sometimes as early as 6:30am) and I could hear the music beats resonating in my room as a background noise. It was at times very annoying when I was still trying to sleep. I would definitely request another room if I come back here.The other thing that I don't understand wih Moxy is that it tends to be a corporate hotel but they don't have proper chairs in the rooms. I don't understand the strategy of the hotel in that regards. If you have to work on your computer, it's very uncomfortable to sit on this stool for hours. In general, hotels suck at having "a normal table with a normal chair at the normal height", which I never understood. Other than that, I had a good time in Chester. The rest of the room was great. The staff was friendly."
