« This was the perfect place for us while visiting relatives in the area and only an hour drive from the Ottawa airport. After we arrived Brianna came to welcome us and provide some detail about the home. This is a beautiful property, impeccable decor and design with all the amenities plus more. The hot tub, fire pit and a glass of wine at the rivers edge were added touches of enjoyment. The S’mores were delicious, thank you Brianna. »

« Clean, cozy cottage on the river. Pet friendly and gorgeous historic towns around to discover.Water isn’t ideal for swimming right at the property but walking around the rapids is an experience all its own.Close to Perth, Carlton Place.. well worth the trips. »

« The location was excellent. Daryl was very responsive to all our inquiries. The only thing is that the play structure in the photos was no longer there and we had kids with us. Swimming was good except for the little ones as the shallow side was pretty weedy. Overall all of us loved the place and would recommend it. The fact that there were toys to play with for both adult and children was wonderful and we took advantage of the. Thanks Daryl for being a great host! It was a pleasure. »

« Four of us - 2 adults and 2 teens - spent a lovely, last minute trip March 13-15, 2025. The cabin did not disappoint. Nestled along the mighty Madawaska River and tucked down in the forest. We played cards, watched movies, and a sat on the awesome couch with a warm fire while enjoying the views. All basic comforts of home were available, the cabin was clean, and we were more than impressed. Would have loved to have had access to the sun porch, but understandably not in use over winter.
