John is a great breakfest cook and we loved the talks and hints Traci and John provided to us for our daytrips to the National Parks. The big tube is a great plus for relaxing at evenings and the cottage is just perfect for two and really clean and in perfect shape. Not only were they super accommodating but nice and funny. They really go above and beyond to make your stay very comfortable and special. Around the area there isn't much since the location its close to the parks. They have plenty of food (hot &cold) you can purchase from them at a very low cost. This was super convenient and we really took advantage of this perk. With your stay breakfast its provided which consisted of scramble eggs and waffles. John made homemade waffles and scrambled eggs for breakfast and even had them made in advance since we were leaving so early hour last night. There was meals, snacks, and beverages for sale in our unit. If you are going to Sequoia or Kings Canyon and want to stay outside the parks, this is a perfect place. It takes about 25 minutes from the park entrance at Kings Canyon. It is a very quiet area in the country. Every detail from the towels to, the snacks and more were absolutely perfect. I would stay here again for sure. The area was a short distance from Kings Canyon visitor center.
