Our room reeked so cigarette smoke even tho we booked a NON SMOKING room. Multiple times the front desk said they would send someone to help refresh the room but it never happened

Room was dated and dirty. Light fixtures were rusted and the furniture was worn. Carpet was sticky. Totally disgusting. Canopy outside was faded and torn. Pool had several areas shut down including the bar. The hot tub was boarded over. They stuck me in the back of the property in a dated worn down building. Terrible. Not even close to 4 stars…

The staff is awful. Security directed me to the wrong place to check in. The staff when checking in did not give me the correct information to the parking garage and had to drive back to the front office to get the garage code and then found out codes for the pool and etc. were not given. The staff rudely stated I Should have received this information in My text message from when I checked in. Guess what they didn’t ask for my phone number to even give me the information. Will never be back and do not recommend this place.

Nos alojamos en el área bayside, es una habitación sencilla pero puedes encontrar piscina y un café (sunset café bar) cerca. Hay muchas actividades diferentes para hacer, la playa queda un poco retirada aunque puedes alquilar carritos de golf y hay un bus que te puede llevar sino tienes transporte propio. Difícil parquear en la zona de la playa en algunas horas.

this property is a huge conglomerate of multiple condos hotels apartments, villas ect that are very spread out on both sides of highway 98. depending on where you stay it can differ in satisfaction. We originally had a condo unit with horrible beds, and a smell in the hallway. We moved to the SandestinGrande Hotel, and it was much more comfortable and convenient to the amazing wharf area.

Sandestin is a beautiful resort. However the property we stayed in was unfortunately not well maintained. The access to the beach and bay was great and Baytowne Wharf area provided a ton of entertainment and dining options. We would definitely return but look to stay at a different location on the property.

I would give it a 5 star all around but there are a few thing I didn’t like, the stay was great, the wharf town nearby was amazing (expensive tho), the whole neighborhood was amazing, the complementary bicycle rentals are a must! And the view from my room was exceptional. One of the thing I didn’t like was the fees that you have to pay additional to your stay, cleaning fee per stay, resort fees per night and incidental hold per night… its been a couple of days since I checked out and still haven’t received my hold back. Oh they charge you a cleaning fee but they require a check list of things to do before you leave ( so you basically have to clean the room before you leave). The pool area was not really that great, needs work… but over all i had a great experience.

Went for Mother's Day weekend. Check in was easy and fast. We had a bay view unit, the view was beautiful and the unit was nice and very clean.

Check in took over 45 mins. Line was super long. The view and room was beautiful but our hot water did not work in our beachside tower. Staff wasn’t as pleasant or accommodating as I would have liked, given the circumstances. The hot water and move to another room was such a big inconvenience. So we had to move into another room. We were told that our bells man would help us carry our items but it took too long for him to come. So we moved them ourselves. That was a big inconvenience and checkout was extremely too early.

Check in process went smooth but, did not realize until we got to our room that it was not the room I had booked. Asked for king size bed and ended up having a room with 2 double beds. This was not told to us at check-in. Also, note not all rooms have balconies. So will make sure next time we have a balcony as well. We called customer service and said someone would be in touch. Did not receive the text/call until the next day and by then we were already settled in the room. Overall is was a good experience. We stayed in Luau II which was walkable to the beach and had a great pool with tiki bar. The shuttle was convenient and took us to the Effie Hotel and Baytowne Warf.

Great room spacious thats all i have to say nicely about the room. Apparently if you pay through a third party like i did with expedia when you go to check in they tack on another fee which i was already charged going through expedia then at the front desk they charge for a damage deposit, claims you get that back after check out i wont know till tuesday. This morning go to take a shower water runs out of the tub filling faucet like normal pull the stem for the shower and a dribble of water comes out then stops like the pipe is clogged took videos of proof because ive been screwed over from hotels like this before from something i didnt cause. Call the front desk and they are like oh we will let maintenance know. Oh great think they can be here within the next two hours would like to take a shower before driving home. No but thank you for letting us know theres an issue. No problem thanks for the inconvenience

Our room at the Sandestin condominiums on the eighth floor was very clean, I was supposed to have a Bayview, but I did not, the communication was really good, the staff were you check in was very knowledgeable and friendly, the only thing we didn’t like about it was the bed king size mattress was very old and saggy. But all in all I would stay there again
