When not enjoying the beach, take a stroll to the community pool only a couple of blocks away, or use your swim spa in your backyard. Beach access is approximately 880 yards. Make your next vacation one to remember at Once Upon a Tide! The Villas of Frangista is a quiet, gated community with cobblestone streets, a community pool, and some small ponds for the kids to fish in. Located in the heart of Miramar Beach, this community is just minutes from the sugar white sands, close to favorite local restaurants, and nearby some of the best shopping in the area. This lovely neighborhood is practically next door to the Seascape Golf Resort, which offers tee times to members of the public and has superior tennis facilities. Wander down the beach to the Whale's Tail or Surf Hut for a bite, take a dip in the lovely community pool, or catch some rays on the sugar-white beaches. \*Max 3 vehicles allowed in the driveway. To maintain a beautiful neighborhood for all to enjoy, the HOA requires the following from all residents and renters: NO RVs, buses, trailers, jet skis, boats, motorcycles, scooters, all-terrain vehicles, or go-carts are permitted in this subdivision. Parking is permitted for passenger vehicles only, in the driveway or the garage. No parking allowed on the grass or yard. Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. For the younger guests, a nautically/pirate-themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Destin Commons also has a mini train for the kids. Destin Commons features over 75 shops and restaurants, including Godiva Chocolates, AMC Movie Theaters, and Bass Pro Shop. If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017\. Located just 685 feet from the Miramar Regional Public Beach Access (by Pompano Joe's) it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. We had 4 adults and 8 kids ranging from 10 months old to 16 years old and everyone enjoyed it. The beach is a short walk away, the bikes are very convenient and the neighborhood feels very safe.We didn't use the community pool as the weather was a little chilly and it was not heated.
