The nearby hammock calls to you to try it out, perfect for those lazy time naps. Continuing to the front deck, framed by billowy curtains, there is a 4-seat cafe table for dining al-fresco and a hanging egg chair, perfect for reading in the gulf breezes. Two sets of French doors provide easy access. Note: Remarkable Mojito Grande is non-smoking property. — BEACH — The private beach access gate is 1 block west, only 160 steps. Gate code and access instructions will be in the digital guidebook. When security guards are present, proof of occupancy is required. They are very strict, so we make it easy by sending you a special copy of your receipt, with the specific information they want, just before your arrival so you will have it handy. On the beach. you have access to the area South of the Erosion Control Line (plainly marked). If you prefer, beach services (chairs, umbrellas, wave runners, etc) can be arranged with the licensed vendor at fees they set. Alvin's Island is 2 blocks west; Pompano Joe's (fresh Gulf-caught seafood & beach bar) is just beyond; 2 blocks east is Emerald Coast Wine Cellars, Bad Ass Coffee, Dairy Queen, and an Italian eatery, Pascalli Kitchen (try their homemade pizza rolls)! Also walkable to Whale Tale and Beach Bar! Drive to nearby Winn Dixie for groceries (and adult beverages), Chick-Fil-A, Surf Hut Restaurant, Li's Chines Restaurant, Austons On 98, CVS, and the Silver Sands Outlets in 4-7 minutes. Chuck & Vicki has set the standard for best hosts! The property location is great, minutes away from Destin and Fort Worth and not a bad drive out to PCB if you’re up for an adventure. The guidebook these hosts created came in VERY handy throughout our stay - we really enjoyed the local dining recommendations and the “Things To Do” section. Very easy check in process and we enjoyed this house! Outside seating area on the balcony is the go to relax spot. The kitchen has updated appliances and everything needed to prep, cook, and/or bake. The towels and bedding are clean and comfortable. I appreciated the ample private parking. The neighborhood was quiet and family friendly with beach access just a very short walk away. This was the first time we ever rented a VRBO. I was very hesitant because I can be a hotel snob, but this home and the owners exceeded my expectations!! The home was spotless, it had every amenity plus extras to get us through our first night with out needing to go to the grocery store as soon as we arrived. The location was perfect!! Not all places are actually kid-friendly but this house was excellent for us. We had four adults, a three year old, and a two year old. It wasn’t too far of a walk to the beach for any of us, including the kids, and we were able to go back and forth as needed. They are prompt with responses, are very accommodating, and makes the process so smooth. We had a last minute booking, and the process was smoother than butter! Now onto the house. The house is beautiful!! My family and I loved it, from the cute decor to the variety of bright, beachy colors. The house definitely embodied the beach house vibe, and the added comforts were a sweet addition! The house was very well kept, extremely clean and well stocked. We went out and bought groceries, but the hosts have every pot, pan, and utensil that you’ll need. Several amenities, so don’t pack too heavy! The location is close to the beach, and there are so many things in the shed that are useful if you are coming with littles! The house is very accommodating for families. This is a really good size place for a family of 4\. Our boys really loved the hammocks. This is a great location in Frangista Beach. It's walking distance to all our favorites. With services like Shipt and Instacart to handle our groceries, we didn't need a car all week. The kitchen was one of the better stocked ones we've been in, and we have stayed at several rentals in Frangista Beach. The beds were comfy and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. We slept great. Our only suggestion is better furniture in the living room. We like to enjoy a movie as we wind down for the night. We made do, but could have used more couch space.
