This property is located in Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort. \* 2444 Bungalo Lane was fully renovated in 2024 6-Seat Golf Cart Included Nestled beneath the palms on the lakeside of the Resort, 2444 Bungalo Lane has recently been remodeled and features designer décor, plush furnishings, an open concept living area, a screened porch and a spacious back deck with a grill and outdoor seating. Our 3-bedroom, 4-bathroom beach bungalow sleeps 8 and is conveniently located across the street from the neighborhood pool. Leave both keys and worries behind as you cruise around in the 6-seat golf cart or grab a towel and head to the beach for some fun in the sun! The main level of our two-story bungalow offers a full kitchen, a spacious living area, a hallway bathroom with walk-in shower, a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and a screened porch with access to the back deck. The kitchen features NEW stainless steel appliances and is equipped with all the cookware and dinnerware needed to create a gourmet meal. With seating for two at the kitchen bar and seating for 6 at the dining table, there is room for everyone. Our spacious and beautifully decorated living area offers plush furnishings, an HDTV with streaming and access to the screened porch and outdoor deck. The master bedroom is located right off the living area and features a comfortable king bed, an HDTV and an ensuite master bathroom with a new walk-in shower. The second floor features a second guest bedroom, a second master suite and a large loft with a twin over double bunk bed. The second guest bedroom has 2 double beds, a SMART TV, and is convenient to the hallway bath with walk-in shower. The second master suite offers a king bed, an HDTV and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. For your convenience, there is a full laundry room equipped with a full-size washer/dryer located on the main floor and high-speed wireless internet is complimentary. With the neighborhood pool and putting green just steps from your front door, fun is never far away! Located on the lakeside of the Resort, this quaint beach bungalow is just minutes from the area’s best eateries, galleries, boutiques, and nightlife. From ropes courses and playgrounds to live music and entertainment at the Village of Baytowne Wharf, there is fun to be had by guests of all ages. We did not spend a lot of time here as we were at the ballpark a lot but this space was so nice. It was very clean. Plenty of space for 2 families and never felt on top of each other. The rental management company sent someone to evaluate, who determined a plumber needed to be called in. The plumber recommended a new hot water heater was needed and he was available to get the job done that day and the present one was reset and started working again briefly. The owner decided not to replace it and it went out again within 24 hours. We were then moved to another rental. When in communication with the rental management company representative, I told him we would not be returning to this rental because of the owner's response to a problem with the unit, even though we were offered a 15% discount on a future stay. I asked him, with the thousands of accommodation choices in the Destin area, why would we return to a rental where the owner treats his customers that way? ##### Amy N. The other is just a 3 minute drive in the golf cart. The beach is so clean and beautiful, just 5 minute drive in the golf cart. Different dinning options is just 5 minutes in the golf cart. Prefect location for the family. Property management was very responsive. The house had surf boards for the kids and some beach chairs. Besides the pots and dishes in the kitchen you have to buy every you may need, seasoning, foil, napkins, and sponge to wash the dishes. Trash is picked up daily which was very nice. The golf cart makes moving all throughout the community SO easy. Plenty of privacy and great location. The bottom floor seemed to be updated recently, but the second floor doesn’t look to be updated at all. Besides the second floor needing a bit of TLC, everything else was great. The primary bedroom has blackout curtains which make you sleep for days! The 2 bedrooms and loft area are bright and cheery. Our only complaint was we wished the loft area had been promoted as a loft. Zero privacy for the 2 beds with traffic going in between rooms to get to the stairs. Teens care but kids wouldn’t. The 6 seater golf cart was amazing to use for beach access, driving to Grand Boulevard or to the Wharf at Sandestin. ##### jennifer n. Location was great! Driving golf cart around neighborhood and shopping was a big hit with the kids. Communication with rental company was stellar. Bungalo was across the street from the pool. So many bed options, that everyone could find the perfect space. The golf cart was a real plus. And our host, Neal, was the most responsive service provider I have ever encountered. I must have asked him questions daily and his response was immediate, pleasant and helpful. He was a treasure! Red flags prevented us from swimming in the ocean but the nearby pool was perfect. The pool was right out the front door and the kids loved that between everything else we did, the golf cart was a lifesaver to drive to beach, store and activities close by. The house was beautifully decorated & clean, and we had everything we needed. Being right by the pool was fun for the kids. The golf cart was a very nice touch and made getting around more fun! The resort is very nice. We went to the resort beach access one day by golf cart. We went to Top Sail Preserve the other days and found it to be more low key! We would absolutely come back again!
