Located right on the Gulf coast, Beach Funatics features a heated, 15' x 30' ft beachfront private pool. Start your day by stepping out your door onto the sugar sand for a walk along the beach as you watch the sunrise over the Emerald Coast. Then settle into the beach chairs with umbrellas that are set up for you every day, just feet from the beautiful Gulf water. With over 6,000 square feet and sleeping for 36 guests, the home has space for everyone! Enjoy time together or find your personal quiet place. Gather in two spacious great rooms on the 2nd floor, each with their own modern kitchens. Side A has a comfortable couch, flat screen TV, pool table and several bar dining areas adjacent to its kitchen with Stainless steel appliances and granite counters. Side B boasts an even larger couch and table seating for 20\. Each kitchen provides plenty of pantry storage and open shelving for all your food. With a total of four refrigerators, three ovens/ranges, four microwaves and four sinks, there is plenty of space for gourmet cooking or a quick reheat of last night's take home meal. Both kitchens open onto a spacious deck that is great for watching the sunrise or sunset or serving up a meal on the provided tables. Step out on the 2nd floor deck for views of the gulf, sand, private patio and pool. On the patio there is patio seating, tables, recliners and two gas BBQ grills between the pool and the gulf water. In the evening, watch the sunset from your large private patio with a bonfire as you make smores and listen to the ocean waves. The 1st floor has the Fishing bunkhouse with four queen beds, and the Patriotic bunk house with four queen beds plus an adjoining bedroom with a queen bed that's great for nearby adults to supervise the kids in the bunkhouse. On one side of the home is fun game room. Kids and parents will love playing the retro Pac Man and Avengers arcade consoles or challenging each other to foosball or shuffleboard. With a mini kitchen complete with commercial ice maker, large TV, bar table & comfortable chairs it is a great place to relax. On the other side is a theater space with tiered seating, console game systems, a dining table and another full kitchen! On the 3rd floor you will find the Turtle suite, which features a king size bed, remodeled bathroom with walk in shower and large sunroom overlooking the Gulf. Equipped with an adjustable desk, this is a great place for that business meeting that can't wait until after vacation. This sunroom also has a twin daybed for those little ones who need to sleep close to Mom and Dad. Next door is the seahorse room with a king bed and its own full bathroom. The Seashell room boasts another kink size bed and a huge walk-in shower with dual shower heads. The Octopus suite is similar to the Turtle suite with a king size bed, ensuite bathroom with a tub and shower, and another sunroom. The sunrooms provide space where two people can work undisturbed and enjoy the beach view. Next is the Nautical family suite. This area consists of a bunkhouse with 4 twin beds and a separate bedroom with 2 queens. These rooms are joined by a double bathroom with two sink and toilet areas and one tub/shower area. Great for families with small children! A TV in every room, plush comfortable couches in the living rooms, strong Wifi, a commercial ice maker for endless ice, and a couple of gaming systems equals perfection inside. Walk across the street to the popular Alvin's Island. Find treasures like shark tooth necklaces or a giant blow up llama for the swimming pool. Hop on the 4 beach cruiser bikes provided with this home and take a spin down to the local Waffle House for some chocolate chip, pecan waffles or hit up the local Chick-Fil-A. Walk down the sand to the beach entrance to the popular Surf Hut restaurant. Drive less than a mile to the Silver Sands Outlet Mall and find some great deals. The owner's 23 grandkids love coming here for vacation, and your family and friends will too! It was not stated that the heated pool was only heated if u pay extra money. For the cost it should have been heated. The pool backfilled with leaves, debris, and nastiness because it wasnt filtering correctly. Ice maker didn't work on 1 side. A chip out of the glass table that is very sharp. They need to update all the pictures as they r not true pictures!! ##### robin P. Séjour de 7 nuits en novembre 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### MAY H. 30 juin 2025 Points forts : Propreté Loved how big it was that fit us all and not even crowded. The only downside was we paid for a heated pool the pool was even heated when we got there. We rented it from Sat-Sat. Its crazy that they would charge us 600 extra just to get the pool heated a day before we got there. The price of it is ridiculous. When you pay for a heated pool, it should be heated and warm when we get there and its should automatically include the night bedore since it takes 24 hrs for the pool to be heated. We shouldnt need to pay it that extra day. Here comes check in and it was a Saturday, i notice the pool was still very cold. We didnt even get there until like 5-6pm so I message FiveStar back and no response at all. I decided to wait until Sunday.. here come sunday late afternoon there no heat. Decided to call them they answer and said they cant do anything until Monday since its the weekend. As a business owner you know that no one works on the weekends you shoulda make sure the pool is heated for us on Saturday! Monday came around the pool guy told us something chewed up the wire he fixed that, on Tuesday we got a nice warm pool! Until Thursday the pool died again. ##### MAY H. Séjour de 7 nuits en mars 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Lisa F. 29 juin 2025 #### Family Vacation There were 19 of us ranging in age from 2-65\. We rented both sides of the home. There is a huge bunk room on the bottom floor, both sides. The house is very roomy and comfortable for a large number of people. Two huge kitchens on the 2nd level which is also were the living spaces were located. Each side had a smaller kitchen in the lower level which came in very handy for drinks and snacks while hanging at the pool. All bedrooms are roomy and the beds were comfortable, had nice sheets, and plenty of towels. The pool area was large with plenty of seating and room for kids to play. Great beach access and location. We enjoyed our stay to say the least. There were some deferred maintenance items in the home but overall it was nice. For the price you pay these should not be issues. Side A- door pool alarm was loose and would not shut off at times. Oven & stove didn’t work the greatest, took forever to heat up, needs replaced. The gate on the balcony steps didn’t latch properly, needs fixed. Ceiling above bunk was missing a chunk of drywall.Side B-a burner in the stove did not work.Fridge in lower level, water inside and did not cool properly. On steps from balcony, a rod is missing and space is big enough to fit through. Safety issue. Some TV worked, not all. Remotes missing batteries. Outside- black BBQ pit, the connector for propane tank was bad, leaked, could not use. Needs replaced. The cover to the pit is ripped. Balcony rail was loose, not solid/secure. ![The rail on side B steps from the balcony is missing a rod and a child easily fits through. The house is large enough for our group & with four kitchens there was plenty of refrigerator space! The location is fantastic, the beach beautiful & the pool was very refreshing. Lots of bedrooms (many bunkbeds), bathrooms, kitchen options. Heated pool was awesome! Only issue we had at check-in was incorrected key code was provided on check-in instructions. The house was clean, comfortable, decorated nicely and had almost everything we needed in the 2 kitchens. The units join through a large doorway on the middle floor. Pool was warm, sparkling and wonderful. Beach was perfect. Beds were comfortable. Don't let the outdated outside appearance distract you.... this is a super nice vacation place! ##### Wendy M. The issue is the cleanliness of the property and the fact that there are major items in the property that simply do not work. We rented both the A and B side. The stove downstairs does not work. Multiple outlets do not work. The overall condition of the property is deteriorating. The view and access to the beach are spectacular but the property itself is not a place my family and I would ever stay again. ##### Terry L. It was very conveniently close to the beach and had all of the things we needed. The amenities were perfect but the place wasn’t handicap accessible and could have used a ramp on the first floor.
