The cottage was better in person than on the listing. The beds are comfy, it has all the amenities you need, and a short walk to the beach. The outdoor shower is the best too. We loved that option. We were in the midst of the action attending the Gumbo Festival. We loved hearing the music and people watching from the balcony. The condo was a good option for our family of 3\. We tend to cook a few meals when traveling. Kitchen is appointed for basic use (i.e., no measuring spoons or we couldn't find them) otherwise everything you need is there. It was my parents and my family including my wife and elementary school aged daughter. We wanted to be in the middle of all things Baytowne Wharf so the location gave us what we were looking for. The property provided towels, shampoo, dishes and detergents, so overall a good stay. Things we wish were just a little better, the dryer takes a long time to dry. It’s probably not very well ventilated, my guess. The sleeper sofa is not very comfortable, we didn’t end up using as expected. And lastly, we didn’t realize how noisy each morning would be with maintenance crews cleaning up and maintaining the grounds. Not a deal breaker, just wished it was a little more quiet. So if you plan to stay here, this is one thing you must be good with. We spent most of the time at the beach. The tram passes came handy a few times. Mostly we drove back and forth. The property does not give you access to the closest parking lot to the beach so, you’ll need to walk a bit from the parking lot, but a huge deal but we have always had a card that allowed us to park closer. Again, some critique above, since otherwise the place is exactly what you see in photos, Wi-Fi reliable, the questions were quickly answered, so overall the stay was good. ##### Eri G.
