Hôtel ultra moderne et ambiance jeune. Par contre, je ne sais pas si on est tombés au mauvais moment, mais la musique était à fond quand on a fait le check-in, bcp trop bruyant pour facilement comprendre ce que le personnel nous disait ! Une autre fois, rebelote ; musique à fond, il devait y avoir une soirée au rez-de-chaussée…Heureusement on n’entendait rien dans la chambre. Il y a des jeux de société, une table de ping-pong et un coin musique & vinyles dans l’entrée de l’hôtel, super sympa ! Pas mal de restos dans le quartier, et les lacs sont à 15 min à pied. Par contre il faut une voiture ou un taxi pour aller dans l’hypercentre de Minneapolis. Chambre et SDB super originales, bien décorées et modernes ! Il y a même un défroisseur vertical pour les vêtements. Le 2ème jour nos WC avaient un problème, le personnel a été très réactif. Pas de petit-déjeuner mais il y a moyen de trouver à manger à l’extérieur sans problème.

Construction on Lake Street made it nearly impossible to get to the hotel. (Take 31st to Emerson and turn North/toward Lake Street even though it says it's one way and your GPS is telling you something else, trust me! There is a pay lot across the street from the hotel there, $18/day max.) Once inside, we were informed that our room with two beds wasn't clean but that they would offer us a room with a king bed "at no extra charge". 🙃 I was traveling with my teenage son, so this was less than ideal but not impossible. The room itself was quite small, with no fridge, no dresser, no closet. The bed is similar to a futon, lower to the floor and very firm. We had fun with the guitar! Some time after we settled in, a staff member came to offer us an additional but not adjacent room across the hall but I was uncomfortable sending a minor to his own room. I'm not sure why they never offered to just clean the room we reserved? The staff we met were very nice and obviously trying hard but they seemed inexperienced and underresourced. The whole experience felt much more like a stay in a youth hostel or a campus dormitory than a hotel. I wouldn't have minded this vibe if the pricing aligned. Next time we visit Mpls, we will probably choose another hotel with parking, breakfast, and a comfier bed for the same price.

I enjoyed the contemporary unique ambiance of the property. There are plenty of excellent places to eat and hang within reasonable walking distance of the hotel, with the plus that it’s in a neighborhood rather than a downtown. I like the vibe of the Lynlake area. The lobby bar was understaffed the night I was there but it has a nice selection of spirits. They offer a complimentary Welcome Beverage to start off your stay.

The rooms were so small, there was no place to put your clothes, you can hear everything, especially when someone is in the bathroom. The tv worked half of the time. I realize it says offsite parking but what it doesnt tell you is that if one lot is full (a lot they don't own) you can go to a parking ramp thats 2 blocks away which is not acceptable. It was great walking in the rain with all our luggage. Overall i would not stay here again and believe for $214 a night I could have found something bigger and overall better.

We had an awesome stay here! The staff was amazing, the facility was clean, smelled amazing, and had fun amenities! Our room was small but loved how it still fit everything we needed and it didnt feel too small by any means!! The bed was extremely comfortable and it was really quiet in the building. The hotel was completely booked and we didnt hear anyone wandering the halls or have any disruptions. Would definitely stay again!

I loved the inviting personalities of everyone who worked in the hotel. From check in staff to housekeeping, everyone I interacted with was pleasant and friendly. The location was close to many amenities including a grocery store, pharmacy, and various restaurants/bars. I loved how at check in, I was given a token for a free drink/snack to redeem at any time. Very nice touch!

$100 deposit per night … had to pay $300 on top of the $300 I already paid for the hotel. No valet anymore and parking is a headache. Used to love this hotel, but it’s not the same unfortunately. Staff was excellent and super helpful! Went out of their way to help as they could.

The staff was very friendly. Our tv didn’t work so we were upgraded to a room that had a working tv. The Moxy is close to dowtown Minneapolis and has a lot of nice restaurants near-by. Also, a CVS and grocery store are within a block away. I will definitely be staying at The Moxy in the future.

Appealing to a young clientele- fun vibe. Loved the live band! Good fit for the Lake Street community. Ok to park on street but as we grow older we will want valet parking which was not available despite that option described online.

I loved our room! It was minimal and very stylish. The bathroom was luxurious even though it was small. The staff were some of the friendliest people! The price was right but it didn’t feel like a cheap hotel.

Great place. Very hip vibe. Loved it all (especially the guitar and amp👊) until 7:15 the next morning, when housekeeping was cleaning the room across the hall. Very loud noises woke me up several times. Very unsettling.

Very cool modern design. It was walking distance to uptown Lynlake areas and also to our concert at the uptown theater. Would definitely stay here again if I’m seeing a show there in the future. We received a free drink each at the bar. Parking in the nearby ramp was easy and it was well lit and felt safe, it cost about $12 a day. There’s an area on the back of the hotel for loading and checking in. Staff was very nice!
