Afton State Park is 5 minutes away or immediately hiking for the fit with its miles of trails and a few public beaches close by.

See the moon rise in Hudson, it is amazing! Do this after a night out to dinner at San Pedro’s restaurant…. If antiques and boutiques are your thing hop over to Stillwater. Grab a picnic at the COOP and eat by the riverfront. Up for even more adventure rent an electric bike there and cross over the new pedestrian bridge that leads to Osceola….

Take a scenic trip up to Marine on The St Croix and visit the old General Store there after hiking in Afton, William O’Brien or Interstate State State Park. After one of these come back to a quaint cottage built in the 1920’s and listen to the sounds of nature or have a bon fire in the Chiminea.

In winter snowshoeing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing. In autumn: berry picking, orchard, pumpkins, leaves. In summer St Mary's point Riverfront Park with its gorgeous beach or the Historic Docks in Afton at Windmill Marina just to see the boats and take in the activity on the river.
