Step inside, relax & unwind, you'll be greeted by a clean and bright unit in a 4-unit building. Has its own separate entrance. It's beautiful, and the neighborhood is quaint. It’s a cool old house that has been converted into 4 apartments, in a superbly convenient location. Just a pleasant walk from restaurants, bars, breweries, theaters, and antique shops. The house is a late 1800's Victorian home converted into 4 units. You will be renting unit 1\. This unit has 1 bedroom, a fully stocked kitchen, and a living room. TV, Wi-Fi, streaming (no cable), linens, towels, hangers, Washer, dryer, and some toiletries provided (once out you will need to provide more). Need to work we have you covered with a designated work spot to set up your laptop and work. Sleeps 3 people comfortably in the 1 bedroom. 1 King Bed 1 single Bed Please notify us if anything does not work, or is broken. We are open to any recommendations. No overnight on-street parking in Anoka. There is driveway parking for one vehicle, additional parking for 1 may be available upon request. Guess will have access to the entire apartment with its own private entrance. Anoka was built-up in the mid-1800s around logging operations, where the Rum River and the mighty Mississippi River come together. Later the town profited from potato production, shoe manufacturing, and a state-run hospital. By 1937, Anoka became nationally recognized as a Halloween destination when 12-year-old Harold Blair won a trip to Washington D.C., and brought with him a sweater sewn with an Anoka the Halloween patch on it and a proclamation that named Anoka as the Halloween Capital of the World. It was also one of the first cities in the United States to put on a Halloween celebration that discourages people from playing tricks or causing trouble. If you love Halloween and all the creepiness that goes along with it. You will want to go on one of the many Guided Cemetery Tours or Ghost Tours throughout the historical town. Anoka is a beautiful small town with lots of places to explore and offer including walks along the riverfront, stopping by the dam to enjoy some fishing, and going to a concert at one of our beautiful parks just over the river. Unfortunately while we were there in December, we were overrun with ants and asian beetles. We killed hundreds every day. Ant traps were out, but they obviously weren't working.
