Have never been to Mineral Point and found the area so charming and pleasant. We walked the downtown area in the evening and enjoyed the history of the town/buildings. Kitchen adequately stocked with utensils for home cooking. We could tell the owners are still working on some improvements but they have done enough to make it a comfortable and cozy stay. It was clean and comfortable. We were disappointed that no wood was provided for the fire ring, but we managed to find enough dead twigs and branches in the yard to burn. The deck off the kitchen needed a good sweeping-dead leaves, debris and twigs around the patio furniture. The screen door had a large tear so we couldn't leave the kitchen door open.
