The house is well-located on the lake, with plenty of smooth water for boating and skiing. A grocery store is 5 minutes away. The advertised small beach is really a sand box, but that was okay. Very spacious and well laid out with room for everyone to spread out but also come together in the TV and play rooms as well as the spacious kitchen. Check-in process was easy, the house was clean, and, The cleanup steps to check out were minimal. It does look like the bedroom configuration was a little different than what we expected - with only two bedrooms in the basement, three on the main floor, and four bedrooms on the upper level. Oct 8, 2023 #### Great place for a small staff retreat Would definitely recommend!! We had 8 staff members at the house for a retreat. Everyone had their own room, plenty of space (indoors and outside)for meetings and activities. Internet connection was good for conferencing and streaming. The house is lose to some nice local restaurants for dinner, and a grocery store for anything we needed. It was a great kitchen for us to prepare our own breakfasts and lunches. I have never stayed in a VRBO that had so much of the little stuff…trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, spices etc. Having two large fridges and two dishwashers was helpful. We enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, ping pong, pool table, foosball and large screen in the living room. Vacasa’s local staff was attentive and had the coffee pot replaced within an hour when we noticed a crack in the carafe. ##### Mary Beth F. Jun 7, 2024 #### This place needs improvement This is the third house that we rented through Vacasa for our annual trip to Lake Anna. It served the purpose but is definitely not the best one. Pros: Inside is great - lots of bedrooms space and beds for a big group, plenty of game options (basketball, pool table, etc.), kitchen is well stocked including two dishwashers and two fridges (+ more than enough coffee makers LOL). If it rained or were cold, staying inside would be perfect. However, we came on very sunny days. Cons: Outside needs a freshen-up especially for warm weather months. Outdoor furnitures and space were full of spiderwebs and bugs. No water activity supplies except for three kayaks (comparing to our previous rentals which both provided plenty of supplies in the boat house). House/boat house are very close to the neighbor's. Plumbers came to fix the hot tub during our stay but we didn't get to use it because water didn't really heat up. ##### Chen F. Close to a cidery and wineries. Beautiful view. The WiFi was not accessible, only the TV in the large room would work and several light bulbs were out. I offer these observations for improvements. The property was perfect for our large family of 15 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and the children loved playing pool, basketball and ping pong along with games and puzzles. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to prepare dinners for 17 people. Having 2 dishwashers was incredible! Due to the beautiful fall weather, we were able to relax around the gorgeous fire pit and view of the lake. The location is close to many activities and outdoor activities. Beautiful home, plenty of room for everyone. A couple of suggestions: Pressure wash the exterior, the mildew is not attractive. Perform maintenance on the bathrooms. Some toilets were non functional.
