I would like to communicate a few points in an effort to be helpful. It was SUPER cold while we were there—-in the teens, so we did not use the hot tub or enjoy the porches at all. When we arrived—-the code we were sent was this. Door Lock: 016382\*/ (checkmark symbol)We tried this combination numerous times with no success. We finally just used the numbers and checkmark, which opened the door. Please remove the \* from the instructions.We needed all 4 bedrooms. The upstairs loft bedroom had no sheets on the bed, which made for a very uncomfortable night for the person using that room. My husband and I slept in the bedroom off the kitchen, which had only a very thin bedspread. I did find one thin, cotton blanket in the closet, but we would have loved warmer bedding. In the kitchen, the refrigerator has an ice-maker, which apparently does not work. There were 4 empty ice trays in the freezer, so we eventually had some ice from those, and left them filled for the next guest. We brought wine, but there are no wine glasses. We made do with the glassware that was there. We never did get the gas logs fireplace to operate, despite following the instructions carefully. We bought some wood the next day and used the wood burning fireplace. Despite those things, we had a lovely time. If it were my house, I would appreciate the feedback, hence these thoughts. ##### Karen T. The driveway to the house is very steep with a switchback turn in that a low clearance car may scrape on. Did not use the hot tub but checked it out and it was clean and nice. The porches are lovely and peaceful. The beds were comfortable and sheets clean. The cabin itself is really nice and spacious. But there were a number of things that need attention. The road leading up to the cabin has a jack knife turn which is very difficult to maneuver, even dangerous, but no mention of this in listing. I wrote to ask if the fireplace was gas, and was told I needed to bring firewood, so I bought wood. There is a gas fireplace, so I was given incorrect info. Two of the bedrooms did not have blankets, just the bedspread. The kitchen was very disorganized; couldn't find a toaster, and most of the dishes were chipped. The fry pans were old, and one was scratched and rusted. Had to go out and buy batteries for the TV remotes. The shower in the loft room did not have hot water. Although we had a good time, if the things that could be fixed had been, and if the road and gas fireplace were mentioned in listing, we would of had a better stay. It wouldn't take much to make this cabin a desirable place to stay. ##### Kathy F. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. The rooms are vary spacious and the house felt like it just kept going. The wrap-around porch really made taking in the mountain scenery easy. The outdoor hot tub was fantastic and very relaxing. From the pool table to pinball machine to the open layout the fun was endless for our group. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed to cook. The driveway is very steep as mentioned in other reviews but nothing to worry about we made it with ease in a Kia Forte. I would definitely love to stay here again, the staff was very responsive and quickly resolved the lone issue we had with our stay. ##### David S. Only thing I will mention is one of the bedrooms doesn't have a full wall, etc. its a loft, I didn't realize that. may have been my fault. Then another room was very small. But other than that, it was fine! Just wanted to give a heads up for moms with children in case you planned the rooms for your kids to not hear noises once they went to sleep, etc. We had a great time overall! ##### Rachel S. This property was exactly what we needed. Even lots of outdoor space for our little dogs. It did list fishing within a short walk, we never found it. Check in and out was super easy!
