Goodlands Cottage is adetached bungalow which is situated half way between Miltown Malbay and Spanish Point on the west coast of Ireland in County Clare. With one twin bedroom and three doubles (one with an ensuite) and a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep eight people. The rest of the accommodation comprises a fitted kitchen with a dining area and an open fire and a sitting room which also has an open fire. Outside the cottage is a lawned garden surrounding the cottage with garden furniture and a BBQ, as well as off road parking for four cars. With many rooms having sea views and being located close to the beaches of Spanish Point, Goodlands Cottage is a lovely family cottage all year round. Note: This property is situated on the N67, and as such, may be subject to some associated noise. Please note: this property only accepts a minimum of 7 night stays. Amenities: Oil central heating with open fires in dining area and sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, DVD. Region: County Clare has so much on offer; boat trips, quirky pubs, seaside resorts and a great tradition for Irish music, all set amidst spectacular scenery such as the towering Cliffs of Moher and the fascinating landscape of The Burren. Town: Miltown Malbay is located close to the Atlantic coast in County Clare, and is only an hour from Shannon Airport. Famed for its traditional Irish music, it is home to the Willie Clancy music festival, which is held in July, however visitors will find fabulous live music in many pubs and bars whatever the time of year. Miltown Malbay is close to the beach resorts of Spanish Point and Doonbeg, both of which are well worth a visit for their great surf, not to mention their excellent golf courses. It was within walking distance or a short drive. The house was comfortable enough but there were issues with the water and showers. The water was a light brown color which made it hard to be able to drink it or give a bath to a child. We bought bottled water. One shower did not work; it was either too cold or scalding hot. It was also very difficult to pull out of driveway. There are blind spots in both directions. ##### Laura L.
