Fenced in backyard, private beach in walking distance. Just over 10 miles to downtown Rehoboth. Crabbing and fishing off the dock. Stunning panoramic bay views with gorgeous sunsets. Spacious living quarters including enclosed sunroom, with extra room off sunroom for use as game room or children’s play area, and wraparound deck with power awning. The property is a nature lover's dream, close to pristine natural habitat for bird watching and water scenes that are constantly changing. Walking path to private beach. The whole family can enjoy a wide variety of water sports. Preparing meals will be a joy in the fully equipped kitchen. Dine at the kitchen island, spacious dining room or sunroom with sweeping views of the bay and beautiful sunsets. Far from the crowds, but close to everything --- Rehoboth boardwalk is just over 10 miles away and close proximity to the neighboring resort towns Dewey, Bethany Beach, and Lewes. We had ages 2 yrs to 80 yrs, we had a handicapped person, we had pets, etc. The house worked really well for everyone. The star attraction is the beautiful back deck overlooking the bay. A constant source of beauty and calm. If there was one drawback, it was the congestion and traffic getting to the beach. The area is undergoing a lot of development. We were so happy with our decision to book this house. Daron was responsive from the start and continued to be throughout our stay. The outdoor space was great. We spent a lot of time on the dock fishing and crabbing. The fenced in yard was great for our dog too. The house had amazing views of the bay and plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably. Daron had suggested watching the fireworks from the dock and I’m so glad we did. You can see the fireworks all around the lake. July 2024 This trip was just what we needed! Our family suffered a loss days before our trip & Daron was so kind and allowed us to entered the home early since we had to leave our week early. Plenty of room for our big family and easy access to Town to go jet skiing and Pontoon rentals for sand bar excursions! The house had everything we needed, the yard was perfect for our dog. Morning coffee with water views watching the boats, dinners we used the bbq grill and relaxed to music using the great outdoor sound system & seeing fireworks on the bay! The house was very comfortable and a good layout for two families with young kids. It’s so peaceful to sit on the dock and back deck. The only downside of our vacation was all the traffic to get to Rehoboth Beach. A local told us the traffic was unusually bad during our stay. We found it easier to get to Lewes Beach and better for the kids anyway because there are no waves. We enjoyed the dock and gazebo for fishing and crabbing. Overall, we had a very enjoyable week and would consider this house for a future visit. Cleaning that was done prior to our arrival was not up to expected standards, we also were blamed for some of that lack of cleaning. The yard was large but very dusty due to lack of upkeep/watering of the grass - mostly weeds and a lot of bare spots. Some fencing needed repair, as did some lights along the dock area. The charcoal grill was good, but there was no charcoal (we were told it would be available and had to buy our own). ##### John A. Very secluded and quiet, but only 25 - 35 mins from Rehoboth Beach. The owners were easy to work with and the home is well kept! My family and I very much enjoyed the house and location. ##### Roger H. We enjoyed the morning breeze and beautiful sunset daily while chatting with friends in the gazebo! While we stayed there, we didn't really feel the need to go somewhere because we didn't feel bored at all! It is a great place to have a relaxing summer vacation. ##### Di Y. Good for boating, fishing and crabbing. Good location for visiting both Delaware and Maryland beaches. Shopping is only 15 minutes away with lots of outlet stores. This house is located in more of a country type location but the peacefulness was nice. Great views of the water and sunset. The neighborhood was definitely upscale and safe. Our family enjoyed the views and experience catching plenty of fish and bird watching. Our stay was comfortable with room for family to make many memories with each other. ##### lawrence g.
