Welcome to this newly built, luxurious 4BR/3.5 bath townhome, located at the prestigious 18th on the Bay at the Peninsula. Relax and enjoy a quiet morning sunrise or spectacular sunset with scenic views from the patio overlooking the pond. This end unit has plenty of windows and every room is brightly lit and designed to create the perfect environment for your next summer family vacation. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a large countertop seating six, a connected dining room, an inviting family room with a large Smart TV and sound system. There are primary bedrooms on the first & second floor which include king size beds, Smart TVs with sound bars, walk-in closets and full “En Suite” bathrooms. Two additional guest bedrooms on the second floor share the third full bathroom. The loft area has its own Smart TV with sound bar and a sofa bed. Verizon cable and high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Nestled within the Peninsula, enjoy a resort style vacation, full of amenities for both kids and adults. The Peninsula is a private, gated waterfront community offering world-class amenities including a championship golf experience, a full-service spa, indoor/outdoor pools and hot tubs, an outdoor wave pool, a professionally designed tennis (4 Premier & 2 Har-Tru courts) & pickle ball venue (6 courts), lighted basketball courts, mini-golf course, large kids game room, nature/hiking trails, kayaking, biking, the Terrace Grille, 33,000 sq. ft. clubhouse and more! A state-of-the-art fitness center is also available. Guests will have access to the world-renowned private Jack Nicklaus golf course ranked as a top course in Delaware for an additional cost. Club Amenity Fees are based on a per person price/length of stay and will be in addition to the rental rate. If booking on VRBO they will not be included in the price quote. All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package. This property does not allow pets; Peninsula rules allow for a maximum of 3 cars. Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00\. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO. The property must be occupied by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement, and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Guest for the entire rental period. The Guest signing the Lodging Agreement must be at least 25 years of age and must occupy the Property for the entire rental period. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online. VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Enough room to congregate in the kitchen, living room & outdoor patio; and large enough to sprawl out for down-time. House was clean; beds & couches were comfortable. Community wave pool, splash pad, and water obstacle were our kids fave part of the rental. It was a surprise to us that there was additional fee for this because it was not mentioned on the initial listing but in the end the fee was worth it for us. The only thing we would recommend would be to provide better internet. It was rather weak. Had a hard time loading websites on the iPad. Some of us switched to 5g on our phones to use the internet. FYI- the property is in a gated community. Upon arrival we were given a “pass”, which had to be scanned to be allowed into the community; there is an attendant 24 hrs. ##### Gabby P. This was our first trip to Delaware and it was a pleasant surprise. The property is in the Peninsula which is a resort like residential area. Our initial thought was to drive to the beach while on vacation. We never made it because the pools here were so nice! I loved walking in the mornings and evenings, the sunrise and sunsets were fantastic. Everyone was exceedingly pleasant! There was an issue with the Wifi not supporting the work I needed to do and the owners were very responsive and had Verizon fix it on a Sunday! I was impressed and grateful for their responsiveness. The unit was very spacious and each of my two kids had their own room and bathroom as well as TVs. The unit is on a corner and has a nice amount of yard space as well. The kitchen is well appointment and the entire unit is clean and nicely decorated. The complex also has a gym but we went into town for one since our family is pretty serious about training and wanted a better equipped gym. But the one at the Peninsula is perfectly fine for a recreational gym goer. We also got a fair amount of back to school shopping done as the Tanger Outlets were near and there is no sales tax! 5/5 stars! Great location, beautiful unit, responsive hosts and realtor.
