On the first floor, you'll find a cozy bedroom with a queen-size hybrid pillow top bed for a comfortable night's sleep. The second-floor loft boasts a queen-size memory foam bed for added relaxation. The cost is $35/Per Dogl/ Per Night and needs to be paid through the resolution center the day you book. If you would like the animal to sleep on the bed with you, please bring a sheet for it to lay on. I do not suggest letting your dog loose. The person(s) who book the reservation assume full responsibility of any damages, additional cleaning expenses caused by the animal in the reservation as well as the safety of animal(s) on the entire property. Any unapproved or additional animals are subject to a $50 daily fee per animal. Any sign of illegal activities, such as underage drinking or unauthorized parties, will result in instant cancellation, a $500 fine, and no refund. No extra guests allowed inside the unit unless approved by the host before booking confirmation. If you try to bring unwarranted guests in, you may be forced to leave without refund. So, don’t risk it. Extra guest charge $30/pp/PER NIGHT, regardless of whether they stay or not. Late checkouts incur a fee of $50/hour, up to 2 hours, with an additional $500 fee if later. Smoking inside the unit incurs a $350 ozone cleaning fee, separate from the security deposit. Mailing forgotten items costs $75 plus shipping. Noise/neighbor complaints: First complaint after quiet hours results in a $250 fine. Additional complaints lead to immediate termination of stay, no refund, and full security deposit deduction. Parking on the grass incurs a $250 fine per car. Reservation changes require approval. Adjusted/removed dates within 30 days of booking withhold 50% of those dates. Contact the host for approval before having a fire. Guests must clean up yard garbage every night. Leaving garbage outside incurs a $50 excessive cleanup fee. Guests are responsible for cleaning furniture and grill (if used) before departure. Legal: Property available for a single family housekeeping unit or up to 4 unrelated persons. Minimum booking of one week, in multiples of one week. Not available for transient rental. Thermostats are set to a threshold of 68-72 degrees. Please plan accordingly. Early check-in and late check-out must be paid for at the time they are approved. No refunds. All issues should be reported within 3 hours after check-in. With photographic evidence. All issues that are not reported will not be eligible for a partial or full refund. Communication is very important to us. Yes, the appliances were high-end, but the furniture definitely needs updating, especially the living room sofa and chair -- not easy to get out of and no support. We didn't need to use it, but if someone had to sleep on the sofabed, it would probably have been very uncomfortable. With the cooler weather, we were very disappointed that all windows did not have screens (or the screens had holes in them) so they could not be opened. Upstairs had no window screens at all, so windows had to remain closed. What we enjoyed most was the back deck overlooking the lake. We brought citronella candles and sat out late afternoon/early evening. When we made the reservation, we did not realize the "host" was a rental agency. Communication was very difficult in the weeks before our stay. We had several emails and phone calls go unanswered. ##### Jan B. We were in town for a week to visit our daughter who just started college at Wesleyan. The house was a 5-10 minute drive to the campus depending on traffic. Very convenient and much better than spending a week in a hotel. The host was very responsive and we had everything we needed. The lake was a bonus for me. I brought a fly rod and spent my down time catching bass and blue gill while my wife relaxed gazing at the beautiful views. We spotted a giant carp cruising around in the water as well, but I opted not to play around with a fish that size. 😂 We would stay there again and appreciate the host for a pleasant stay. Relaxing and peaceful view of the pond. Enjoyed morning coffee on the large deck and beds were comfortable. The kitchen area was well appointed though it did get warm with no ac. We bought a fan and directed airflow into the kitchen from the cooler living room area and it worked nicely to cool the kitchen with the bathroom door closed. Bathroom had a musty smell only when the fan was not on. Would stay again, convenient location for our purposes. Overall good experience! ##### Catherine P.
