Stayed for an extended weekend, the location is right in the middle of the Art Deco district, so it can be expected that it is an older building, the decor is a bit outdated but the room (suite) was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, room can be serviced daily if requested, the staff was very polite, no issues with checking in.

Charming Art Deco hotel perfectly located, just one block from Ocean Drive and Lummus Park, with easy access to the beach and the great restaurants and nightlife. The furnishings are dated but it is clean and the room includes a flat-screen TV, microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker.

Stunningly beautiful property and furnishings with a generously sized room and kitchen. The streets outside are pretty noisy and the sound travels into the room, so bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper!

The property was very clean and close to Ocean Dr. and all the restaurants. Also very close to the beach. I didn't like the termites but I was accommodated for the inconvenience and got a better room.

Very user unfriendly. I booked a room a week in advance from California to Miami. I called the Motel on Monday to let them know that even though I booked the room from thursday to sunday, I would be arriving thursday morning between 7:30 and 9:30. On Monday I left a message on the phone and called 5 times, no one answered or returned my call, i called 5 times a day for the rest of the week and finally had to reach out to expedia to call them for me. when I originally booked the room I got an email from hotel that if you cant check in at normal from 4 to 10:00 you have to reach out to the Hotel. I heard many stories of travelers to south beach were thier flights were delayed and weren't able to check in on time, than the motel sold thier room and kept their money, than they had to book a room somewhere else. I learned my lesson, dont book until you have talked to the hotel 1st.

The hotel wasn’t horrible, and for around $75 a night I think it was fair value for South Beach. The room itself was okay, although the property is clearly older, with some cracks, worn walls and areas where the paint was bubbling or peeling. I personally didn’t like the bathroom, and I also wasn’t a fan of the physical room key. The fact that there was no front desk after hours was another downside for me, especially as a solo traveller. At times the hotel also felt a little too quiet , almost ghostly lol. That being said, I wouldn’t bash the hotel. For the price, it did what I needed it to do, the room was generally okay, and I understand that it’s an older property. I’d probably stay somewhere a little more modern next time, with a 24-hour front desk and electronic key access.
