The pool, restaurant and housekeeping teams were amazing and responsive. The front desk team seemed as if guests were a bother. They were condescending and not particularly pleasant to deal with. They seemed to look down at guests or resent them. The fitness center (really a bad gym) is the worst of any 5 Star property we've stayed. The property is riding on the Ritz Carlton name only and should be 4 Star and not 5. I would not recommend this property to stay but highly recommend Dilido Beach Bar which is open to the public.

The hotel itself is very nice, but be prepared for DJs and music everywhere including at the pool and in the lobby. The pool was crowded the unbelief by 8:30 in the morning almost all the chairs are taken with people with little kids. The beach was also packed, it was Easter weekend so it probably was more harder than normal. Definitely not my favorite Ritz Carlton overall.

Check in was ridiculous
Nice hotel, service was just about OK(doesnt come anywhere near the service you get in Dubai). Check in was ridiculous though, we paid $400 to upgrade to a room that would be earlier than 4pm. they said they'd call us shortly to let us know it was ready (this was 11:30am). The room then wasn't available until 4pm, so was given an upgrade at the same rate, went to the room and it wasn't an upgrade as had no balcony, so was then given the original room we had booked. Honestly, why do people in services industry say they will do something then don't?! Fab Diptyque toiletries were a nice touch and restaurant food was really good.
