The Space: COVID19 - CLEANING PROCEDURES 1- Property is left vacant 2 days after guest check out. 2- Cleaning staff uses handheld spray sanitizer to disinfect home when entering property. 3- UV light disinfectant is used on any touch surfaces - remote, light switches, countertops etc. 4- Touch surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant wipes. 5- Deep clean is thoroughly done every cleaning. 6- Sheets are deep washed with bleach and detergent. Little Havana is at the center of it all, it is a 10 minute drive from anywhere in Miami, with access to public transportation and plenty of Ubers and to top it all off, easy and free street parking. Walk two blocks north and you will reach 8th street (Calle Ocho), there you will find local restaurants, bars and cabarets, a gorgeous Art Deco movie theater showing foreign and independent films, souvenir shops, fruit stands, art galleries and several live music venues including the historic Ball and Chain. Marlins Park is a $5 Uber Ride Away and I highly recommend catching a game if you have the time, it is a great experience. If you head east to Coconut Grove you have: great restaurants, local bars and shops, paddle-boarding, kayaking, biking, Viscaya or The Barnacle. If you head west you can go to Miracle Mile for some shopping and dining or hang with the local crowd at a happy hour at Tarpon Bend, Hillstone or Bulla. You can also go to Venetian Pools or grab brunch at the Biltmore. The free trolley or the metro bus takes you to Brickell or Downtown Miami, where you will find lounges, restaurants, museums, Bayside, Miami Airlines Arena, Opera House and lots more. Getting Around: The free trolley or the metro bus pass 2 blocks away. Uber is also very accessible. Other Things to Note: Street parking is located directly in front of the house. Apr 3, 2024 Liked: Check-in, communication, location #### Location is not everything Walking distance to Little Havana but this place is tiny and uncomfortable. It is attached to the back of a house and seems like it is a converted porch. The bed was much too hard. Not nearly enough accommodations to actually unpack. No chest of drawers and not enough surfaces to put your stuff on. Bathroom has no vent and no surface for toiletries. We had to put our stuff all over the unit and it was only two of the us. The shower is so small, it is almost unusable. The bottom of the shower curtain is way too far away from the shower so the bath mat and floor gets soaked. Upholstery on the sofa was not clean. You have to whisper to not be heard by the occupants of the main house. We repeatedly heard loud talking and laughing fro the other side of the wall. I asked in advance if there was an iron and was told yes. We were late to an event because there was no iron and we had to wait for one to be bought and delivered. All in all, the great location did not make up for the very uncomfortable accommodations. We definitely would not recommend the specific unit. ##### Alan W.
