"Wifi didn’t work we were stranded. The manager only activated to us his personal wifi in the morning at breakfast. The road leading up to the lodge is very tough. The manager offered to guide us but was veryyyyy expensive. Around 300 dollars for 2 days "

"Communication from the owner was excellent. The staff was amazing and patient with our lack of Spanish. The food was delicious and made dining stress free for my wife and me. The grounds and pool were also quite nice. If “bang for your buck” is a priority, I recommend La Maracuya. It’s a little remote, but we wanted some quiet time, and the location didn’t prevent us from exploring. We visited the pacific beaches and El Valle de Anton via rental car. Thanks for caring for us during our stay!"

"From the moment we arrived this hotel was a wonderful experience. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a variety of local and traditional dishes to suit everyone with the best coasta rican coffee. Don’t miss the rooftop bar. The rooms were lovely. Right in the middle of downtown, walking distance to everything. They also offer a fair conversion rate from US dollars to colones. Exceptionally clean boutique hotel."

"The room was clean and it was great to have hot water readily available. All staff from the lobby to cleaners and servers were friendly, helpful and efficient. Elevator was appreciated as well. The location in the historic center allowed us to walk and see many recommended sites. Chinatown was a block away and was interesting to see too. Streets are very clean everywhere!
