The view of the ocean was spectacular. The fireplace worked perfectly and the weather was great. We loved the town and found hiking trails that were long a had great scenery. We visited during the cold winter so we didn't open up to hear the surf, but if its not too cold, you would certainly be able. Very convenient for beaches, tide pools, shopping in Mendocino, hiking, ... A nice spot away from crowds for rejuvenation. ##### John M.
