Rhonda met us and shared her tips about places to eat and things to do. She checked to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is in a great location and fairly private. We were able to relax on the porch jo problem.

The perfect place to spend our anniversary/Valentine's Day! Rhonda was welcoming & made sure we had everything we needed, and gave some stellar restaurant suggestions! Felt like we had peace, quiet, & privacy while still being right in downtown Memphis. (Seriously, so much within walking distance!)

We have stayed in The Cottage numerous times. Perfect for a weekend in downtown Memphis. The cottage is well equipped, comfortable and convenient. It is about a 15 minute walk to the major downtown attractions including being across the street from the Civil Rights Museum. Even though we have never needed them the hosts are always available.

Wonderful space great communication easy check in. Perfect neighborhood for getting where I wanted to go. It’s most suitable for couple- not crawling people. Great bathroom & kitchen facilities. Quiet place with porch for morning coffee. Host quite helpful. Next Memphis trip I will try to stay here again.

I can’t say enough great things about the cottage. First, it’s located within walking distance to so many great restaurants, Beale St, The Lorraine Civil Rights museum. It’s clean and well appointed. Rhonda is an amazing host. We loved Memphis. We’ll be back!!

The Cottage was as advertised in every way. The kitchen was well stocked with all needs for cooking etc. It was very secure location and walk friendly. The porch was perfect since weather was perfect to sit out. great restaurants near by. Will use again if need arises.

Wow, just wow!This was the perfect rental and perfect location for our Memphis stay to start our Tennessee vacation. There are just so many superlatives... location, thoughtfulness for what the renters might need, coziness, suggestions for the local market a block away, and the bed was super comfortable! Rhonda has created the perfect spot so very close to downtown Memphis, but just far enough away from Beale street that you're in your own oasis. The National Civil Rights museum was across the street, as was Central BBQ ((fabulous ribs), and Bar Hustle was a block away for great drinks and happy hour prices! It was simply the perfect VRBO getaway. Thanks again Rhonda!

Excellent location to a variety of tourist attractions that are within walking distance. Everything you would need is within walking area of The Cottage. Knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating hosts. Would stay here again if we ever make it back to Memphis. We only wished we could have stayed longer because we enjoyed it so much there.

Great little cottage!

Hostess, Rhonda, is adorable! Place is great! Easy to find. Great location down town-right next to the National Civil Rights Museum-but off the main street. Walked and scootered to Beale Ave, waterfront excursions and restaurants. (Be aware of the non-use areas with the scooters.) Graceland is 15 minutes by car. Like that the TV can be seen from the bed or the couch. Big beautiful shower. Full kitchen. Comfortable bed. Electronics charging ports a plus! Laundry machine. Does provide a hair dryer but not shampoo or laundry detergent (not stated in listing.) Walgreens is within walking distance! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely rent again!

Great Hosts and Perfect Location!

This cottage is perfect for couples with the loft overlooking the living area. They were not kidding you can walk to all the hot spots, well not Graceland but that’s only a 10 min drive to see the Kings home. Lorraine motel/Civil Rights museum is literally in their backyard! We walked to Beale St, Mississippi River tour cruise, Peabody Hotel to see the ducks, and the pyramid. The Bass Pro Shops Pyramid was a bit of a walk but well worth it!!

Weekend in Memphis

We came to Memphis for a family event. The Cottage was close to the event and close to everything we needed. We did not rent a car and most of what we did was within walking distance. The place is cute, comfy, and in a great location. The address does not match the entrance from the street on the back side of the property. Basically it is across from the Civil Rights museum parking lot. If you are staying in downtown Memphis, This is a great place to stay.
