I have removed walls and vaulted ceilings making this a very light filled space with a open floor plan. The kitchen/great room is approximately 500 ft.² which provides breakfast bar, dining table for four and comfortable seating for five. 55" TV provided in den and 40" TV in the bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, freezer, microwave vent hood, and electric stove/oven. Enjoy complimentary snack basket and Keurig coffee maker. Island provides for 2 bar stools. Cupboard is full of glasses, mugs, cookware, silverware and a multitude of pots and pans to make cooking easy and convenient during your stay. The bedroom includes a queen size bed, fine linens, down comforter, and three large closets. Large bath with tub/shower, 4 foot vanity and even a heated towel rack. Shampoo,Conditioner and Body Wash provided in shower dispenser. Additional sleeping for 2 provided with a queen pullout sofa. A brand-new 4 inch memory foam mattress has been installed , making it very comfortable. A stack washer dryer and all needed items for use are provided for you in a hall closet. Cable, High Speed Internet and Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Guest access Everything is yours to use except for one locked owner's closet. One car parking is provided in front of the unit. Please note driveway is tight and this space is meant for a standard size car. Anything larger should park on the side street and walk up the steps to cottage. Access code for entry will be provided the day before your check in. There is no hassle of meeting someone or waiting for keys. When you arrive at the cottage you will be able to seamlessly check in by typing in a four digit code. Interaction with guests My goal is to make your stay as comfortable as possible.I live in the neighborhood and can provide what every help you need. Only a phone call away. The neighborhood The cottage is located in the historical district of Central Gardens in Midtown Memphis. The location is ideal for being centrally located between downtown, Graceland and East Memphis. Situated between the Cooper Young entertainment district and the Overton Square entertainment district. 20+ restaurants and entertainment venues to choose from. No more than a 15 minute drive to Graceland or downtown activities. The world renowned Memphis zoo and Overton Park, Brooks Museum are less than a five minute drive. So much to offer !! We did have an overall negative experience with this rental. The house has water damage (stains on ceilings and walls, musty odor) and pests (ants and slugs.) Additionally the bath tub was rusty and there were stains on the mattress. There where positives it was a quick walk to multiple nice restaurants, and we liked the tv setup in both the bedroom and living room. Initially we were determined not to let the negatives spoil our trip but after having a slug crawl on the kitchen counter we decided to cut our trip short. Ben, the property owner, was very responsive and apologetic. We were immediately refunded for the balance of the time we didn't stay. I was on the fence about leaving a harsh review but our stay wasn't what we expected and I felt we should be transparent for other folks booking the rental. Sep 4, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Very Pleasant Cottage was located in Central Ave. Where many of the Southern Mansions are located. Cottage was behind one of those. It was nice and clean. It had all we needed for a comfortable stay. Driveway was tight but doable. We recommend this cottage for short safe stay. ##### Judy C.
