I called in advance to ask if there was a coffee machine in the room and was assured there was (there wasn’t). The room itself looked tired and outdated. I felt I was staying in a motel (but paying 5 star rates). We love playing golf here (which is why we stay) and the casual bar/breakfast works really well. They were running behind on our room however the receptionist ensured to make this a priority and gave us a drink card while we were waiting. Room was clean with a beautiful room. Staff were helpful and friendly and the surroundings was stunning. Kitchen was able to accomodate for our vegan diet which was a plus! It had a wonderful deep bathtub looking out to the deck. The activity area was fantastic with mini golf, picnic tables, etc. Amazing customer service and dining options- in room or a restaurant within a walkable distance on site. Our room had a dusty/musty smell to it and it was quite cold. Upon checkin staff were lovely, got the VIP upgrade bottle of wine and very friendly. Resort on the surface is lovely but the rooms are getting worn and dated. Some lights didn’t work well or flickered and wood paneling chipped etc for a 350 a night room was average.
