Highway A1A in Melbourne Beach Florida. A few minutes away is Driftwood Plaza, where you will find a Publix supermarket and other stores, including a restaurant, liquor store and gas station. Unwind on our ocean view deck overlooking a quiet, uncrowded beach while enjoying the ocean breeze.While taking a walk on the beach you can enjoy the adorable little sandpipers and the majestic pelican . Enjoy watching the playful dolphins and you might have a glimpse of a mother whale and her calf. I was informed that Melbourne Beach is actually part of the only known calving grounds for the entire North Atlantic Right Whale species.They have become critically endangered and there are only about 70 reproductive females remaining. During April thru September you may also observe the nesting sea turtles. Your two bedroom air conditioned, non smoking oceanfront suite has a living room with adjacent dining area. A separate fully equipped kitchen and 2 private bedrooms, one of which has a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds. living room and both bedrooms have ceiling fans. And of course there is a full size bath. Cable TV, and unsecured WIFI are provided. The kitchen contains a full size stove and refrigerator. a microwave, toaster and coffee maker plus all dishes, silverware, cooking utensils and cookware. Bed linens, pillows, towels and washcloths are also provided. Outside is a Patio with picnic tables and a charcoal grill, there is a grassy backyard and a deck overlooking the beach with steps that lead down to the sand. There is also a laundry room area with washer and dryer. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided. Barrier Island Sanctuary is a short drive south with many educational exhibits, films and special activities. Snorkeling, pier fishing , surfing , hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and other activities are available at nearby Sebastian Inlet state park. In the city of Melbourne are theater, symphony orchestra, art museum, zoo, botanical gardens and minor league baseball. Cape Canaveral, Disney and Orlando attractions are an easy drive away. Turtle Run is an ideal spot whether you are looking to relax and unwind or as a home base from which to explore the many Florida attractions! At the time we were local and would spend the day at least once with them while they were here. We've since moved to Indiana and decided to actually vacation here - and we loved every minute of it. The condo is well equipped with everything you could think of and/or forgot. The beach feels so private. The kids have fun in the water and it's only a few short yards away for the conveniences of the bathroom or snacks. But our favorite part of this area is being able to observe the sea turtles as they come in to nest. Just be prepared for the mosquitos and no-see-ums. They can be brutal. It was also very convenient that there is washing facilities right on sight. This house is right on the ocean with a beach that is basically empty of people! We really enjoyed the beautiful ocean view and having the waves so close you could hear them from the house. Our unit was super cozy, clean, and comfortable. It has all the kitchen amenities needed. The beach access is as convenient as it gets. Loved hanging out under the pergola enjoying the ocean breeze. We were fortunate enough to see the turtles come up and lay their eggs at night, one of the most majestic things we’ve ever seen. We also had a great view of a night rocket launch from the beach. A day trip up to Cocoa Beach, out to Merritt Island, down the street to Monster Hole and in our "backyard private beach". If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, look no further. Amazing property. My family and I had the best time watching the sea turtles come up to nest! The property is clean and well maintained. The beach is quiet and extremely relaxing. We rarely ran into others and on our third day, my 3 kids and I were playing in the ocean and a school of dolphins came swimming up within a half a football field and were jumping out of the water playing, total amazing. One night, we walked the beach after dark in the moonlight and sighted a couple very large sea turtles walking up to the vegetation edge to lay their eggs. We also found a large amount of sea shells and a couple of large sand dollars. We couldn't have found a more comforting rental and highly recommend this rental. ##### Bruce S. There’s a small yard that leads to the staircase to the beach, picnic tables and charcoal grills for each unit, and lots of different beach chairs, along with some sand toys. The unit itself was fairly spacious, with a small living room and dining area. Kitchen was well-appointed if you wanted to cook. One bedroom had a queen bed (that is old and should be replaced), and the other has two twins. Bathrooms is a bathroom. Both the owners and the property manager checked in on me and we’re available if needed. Honestly though, I can’t imagine you’d ever have a problem that wouldn’t be solved by walking 50 feet to the beach. ##### Jessica P. Séjour de 9 nuits en avril 2022
