![Meeru Island is part of the North Male Atoll in the Maldives. The entire island is one resort, with around 250 individual villas dotted about the island, including right on the beach and over the water. It has to be one of the most relaxing and beautiful places I have ever visited. "Our stay was amazing and it was difficult to leave. The overwater bungalow suite was really nice. My husband and I even did shark watching at night. Yes, there were baby sharks! All the staff were so nice! Look for Sattar if you need a professional photographer. The F & B team led by the female manager (apologies for not remembering her name) were all on point. Pasta guy behind the station took us back to Italy again with his carbonara! "
