"Rooms very basic - only 1 plug in room for tv behind furniture so not easy for charging. Reception staff were just ok - wouldn't let us use outdoor pool at 8.10pm after arrival in motorbike gear in 33° - which would have been a godsend (closed 10 mins prior). Was main reason we booked this place. The restaurant was good - excellent pizza and good prices."

"L'Abete is a lovely, quiet place. Manager Marco was superb, really a fine, nice person who make me feel welcome and who wanted to be as helpful as he could. "On our 10 days trip on Sardinia,this was definitely the best stay. Giuseppe and his wife Jessica were the best hosts. Nothing seemed to be a problem for them. "This was a lovely hotel conveniently located in the centre of Cagliari with the port, restaurants and public transport all nearby. The rooms were comfortable with AC, a fridge, decent wardrobe space and a modern bathroom. The hotel breakfast was fantastic, with lots of options (including local biscuits and pastries), and good coffee. The staff were very kind and on hand to answer any questions. We would happily stay here again. "
