There are 2 homes on this property connected with a large deck that offers outdoor seating, a charcoal grill for cooking, and views of the dunes. Wonderful yard with sand with no stairs to the lake. There's a dock should you decide to rent a boat and a public boat launch just down the street. The large cottage has air conditioning. The small cottage does not have air conditioning. Silver Lake is located in Mears, Michigan, and offers shorelines along Lake Michigan and Silver Lake. While vacationing here you won't want to miss out on the experiences that the massive Silver Lake Sand Dunes have to offer. Rent a jeep of your own or head over to Mac Wood's Dune Rides for an adventurous ride on the sand dunes. Nearby is the Hart-Montague Bicycle Trail which will take you along 22.5 miles of scenic routes. The quaint little town of Pentwater is located just north of the Silver Lake area. You are right on the beach and can walk over and climb the dunes. We stayed in late september to oct and the town stuff was closed. but we didn't care because we relaxed on the beach and climbed the dunes. The houses were clean and had what we needed. The shower isn't great for tall people as the spout is low but pressure was good. Overall, highly reccommend and will be staying again. ##### John J.
