Perfect for two people and a dog. We are located on the Hammond Trail, a 5.5 mile scenic route. The property has a distant view of the ocean, you can WALK to the ocean and Mad River, and we are an easy drive to the National Parks and other beautiful forests.

Gated with private, secure parking, and fully fenced in yards, this one-bedroom home is very clean and custom built with a comfy queen bed, sleeper sofa, & full kitchen. It also includes a sauna & outdoor shower.

Peaceful spot and convienient location
We are repeat guests because we love this property and its amenities. It is located along the Hammond Trail where there are many options for walks. There is a great sauna that I used every day. The yard is beautiful and the backyard is perfect for letting your dog roam. The property owners are great.

We love that you can hear the ocean and Mad River from this lovely place. Great location and has everything you need to be comfortable. The yard is so well maintained and provides a peaceful place to be outside. The owners are awesome.

A very pleasant Humboldt stay
We enjoyed this peaceful property! It was great to be able to bring our dogs to visit our homesick college freshman. Beautiful grounds. We loved the sauna. The unexpected view was a bonus. Felt very secure behind the gated driveway.

Peaceful and Private Property
We loved our stay at this lovely spot in McKinleyville. The unit is private with a nice little backyard off the bedroom where we sat and enjoyed the landscaping. The frony yard looks out to the ocean and has a little spot to sit and enjoy the sunset. The sauna is a gem and the Pictures do not do it justice! The location is excellent, we took walks every morning before heading out for the day. The house has eveything you need. The yard is beautiful with off street parking included. Joellen is a great host .

Lovely little spot with walkable access to the water. Lovely, quiet gardens. We did not take advantage of all the amenities, but we look forward to coming back.

Quiet Getaway
Great place to stay! Use as a home base for exploring the Redwoods and hanging out at the beach. Their home is very quiet, comfortable, and offers many conveniences. 5-stars for the parking situation. My wife and I highly recommend!

Cozy, Comfortable Location!
This is a great place to stay if you are looking for cozy, quiet, and relaxed. The attached 1 bedroom place is well appointed, and very clean. The hosts live onsite. They are nice people and considerate of your privacy. Nicely landscaped fenced in yard, with secure parking. The views out the window, towards the bay, are stunning! Dog friendly as well!
