The layout of the house is great for a group—plenty of space to spread out, and the amenities were well thought out. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and we appreciated the easily accessible fire pit and hot tub.That said, there were a few maintenance issues that took away from the experience. Unfortunately, we found mouse droppings in multiple kitchen drawers, which was off-putting. Temperature control was also a challenge—the master bedroom downstairs was freezing, while the upstairs bedrooms were uncomfortably warm. We tried lowering the thermostat below 74, but it kept reverting back. One of the standing fans upstairs didn’t work either, which didn’t help.Trash management was also tricky. We ran out of space in the outdoor garbage bins and weren’t allowed to store trash in the garage, which left us unsure what to do with the overflow.We were happy with the house overall, but it would really benefit from some more attentive upkeep and clearer instructions for guests. ##### Ruby L.
