They are upgrading, so the rooms are nice. I do not like not having a bedside lamp. The extremely bright can lights in the ceiling are not conducive to relaxing before sleep.

After reading some of the reviews I was somewhat anxious but was pleasantly surprised. If you just need a place to sleep and a bathroom this fits perfectly. It was clean, a nice firm bed with clean linens, no bugs, quiet and what really impressed me was the very soft water in the shower. I wanted to bring the shower home to Oklahoma because we have to deal with such hard water. This place is nothing fancy but was fine for what we needed. The front door could use some insulation, bathroom door some WD-40 and if you don't have your own shampoo there are little packets. The TV worked well but had a line down it which didn't bother us. The base of the bed is metal so when you sit down on it, It makes a soft "Gong" sound. :) We thought it was coming from outside 'til we figured it out. We just thought it was funny. :D We will probably never go that way again but if we do it would not bother us to stay there again.

Dear Pete,Sorry for the inconvenience. If the room was very dirty, why did you guys not complain at the hotel during your stay? And when your wife came for extra towels she did not mention anything about the room being very dirty. We clean better for guests. and you have an issue about extra guest charges so that's why the review is terrible. We have professional pest control services. Whatever they can do best they can do for us.

Sorry for you have inconvenience. But I’m check on my system didn’t stay at hotel. My understanding this review was false information share for other Guest. And we didn’t move any guest on those day of reservation. We are clean better for guest.

The bathroom door was splintered. The shower/tub's caulking was dirty and rough. There were weeds in all the cracks in the pavement and sidewalks. The TV remote didn't work properly. One nice surprise was that McGehee, AR was the site of a Japanese interment camp during WW II and they have a nice museum in the local train station.

I stayed there for a day. I had book my hotel for a week and then my work moved me next day to another town so I went to tell them and get my refund. The owner say that he doesn’t give refunds. I never even put my initials on the no refund box.

If you don’t know how many’s days on you work on this area and you paid for ahead of week. All over in world if you paid weekly rates never issue refund at all. You didn’t stay one day at hotel. The check in clerk did no have any information about my reservation. Luckily there was one room left and I took it. The room was mediocre at best. The bed was fairly comfortable, the the furniture and bathroom were in need of serious upgrading.

I stayed one night on my way to Northwest Arkansas. The check in was fast and the lady was kind. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the rate affordable. Served my needs well. I’d stay here again if I were passing through.

It was an older motel, but clean and the couple that owned it were lovely. Bed was comfortable and it was quiet. A no frills pleasant and relaxing stay on ou way back home.

This property doesn't have street appeal BUT the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were so soft and comfy. For a small roadside hotel it was better than some of the chain hotels i stayed in on this trip.

Good place for a night
Desk clerk went out of her way to find out why a local museum was closed when it’s website said it was open. She called city hall and told them to fix their website. She also got us extra towels went beyond our expectations. Room was clean and comfortable. No breakfast was our only disappointment.
