Welcome to our family-friendly, mountain retreat nestled in the scenic Massanutten, Virginia! This 6-bedroom, 8-bathroom (6 full, 2 half) home is designed to offer a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury, making it an ideal destination for families, friends, and corporate gatherings seeking an unforgettable getaway. Some of the home's amenities include tons of outdoor living space, a Platinum pool pass (free entry for all guests), Xfinity 1GB (at the router) wifi, a gas firepit (on the main floor deck), washer and dryer, and a 22" Weber charcoal grill. **Bedrooms and Bathrooms** This spacious home ensures everyone’s comfort with six well-appointed bedrooms , each featuring its own full bathroom for ultimate privacy and convenience. Five of the bedrooms are furnished with plush king-sized beds, providing ample space and comfort for restful nights. The sixth bedroom is tailored for younger guests or additional friends and family, equipped with two sets of cozy bunk beds. The home’s 8 bathrooms (6 full per bedroom, 2 half baths) ensure there’s never a wait, even with a full house of guests. 3 Bedrooms (2 king and the bunk room) are on the main floor, and are accessible without any steps from the driveway. All linens - sheets, pillows and pillow cases, and bath towels are included. All bedrooms have 65" TV's. When you initially turn the TV's on, it will ask for your departure date. Roku will automatically sign you out of all of your accounts (Netflix, YoutubeTV, Hulu, Disney+ etc etc) on that date! **Living Spaces** The heart of this home is the magnificent great room, characterized by a stunning stone fireplace that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. With a large couch and two love seats, this room is perfect for gathering with loved ones, sharing stories, or simply relaxing in front of a crackling fire (electric). The adjacent kitchen is a culinary enthusiast’s dream, boasting modern appliances, generous counter space, and all the amenities needed to prepare delicious meals. This beautiful kitchen w/10 seat dining table, blender, large griddle and coffee maker that takes both Keurig pods and ground coffee. It flows seamlessly into the dining area, where a large dining table crafted from reclaimed chestnut wood awaits. The rec room also boasts a large couch for relaxing with friends and family, as well as Kitchenette that includes a fridge and coffee maker. This space is perfect for indoor fun, ensuring that everyone has something to enjoy, regardless of the weather outside. **Outdoor Spaces** The home features two expansive decks that are perfect for both entertaining and relaxation. These outdoor spaces provide plenty of seating and offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. In the winter, guests can hit the slopes for skiing and snowboarding at the nearby Massanutten Resort. During the warmer months, the area offers numerous hiking trails, golfing opportunities, and mountain biking adventures. The Massanutten Water Park is also nearby, providing fun for all ages with its indoor and outdoor water attractions. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, this home’s location offers something for everyone. You are also a hop, skip and a jump from the world famous Shenandoah National Park, Shenandoah River and Luray Caverns if you want to enhance your explorer side. Harrisonburg, VA is also right down the road, home to the James Madison Dukes. **Before you get here** Upon booking, you will be provided a very detailed guide for your stay at home. If you have any questions, please reach out to us. **On your arrival** Upon your arrival you will find starter paper products: toilet paper in the bathrooms, paper towels, and trash bags to get you started for your week. **Notes:** 1\. Upon Reservation, we require that you to upload a government issued identification, such as a driver's license to ensure the minimum age requirement (25) is being met. 2\. Check-in begins at 4:00 pm. Check-out is 10 am. 3\. If you place your reservation through VRBO/Homeaway, you will see two separate charges - one from Let It Be/Ole Mountain Buck (your first half deposit, or your entire amount if less than 30 days from arrival), and second from VRBO - their booking service fee. This fee is charged directly from VRBO and is not part of any charges collected by us. All communication and second payments will be made directly to us as the owners, not through VRBO/Homeaway. 4\. We do not allow smoking anywhere on the property. 5\. We allow dogs on a case by case basis. Please reach out to discuss terms. There will be a fee even if you instabook without selecting you are bringing a dog. Those who bring a dog or any other pet without asking and getting permission will be assessed a $1,000 fee. 6\. The property uses Ring Security. There is a Ring security camera at the main door. There is a Ring Flood Security camera on the front-right of the house. There are two Ring security cams, one on each deck, at the rear of the home. 7\. You will be given a link to our TouchStay digital guidebook that will enhance your experience during your stay. If we missed anything, we would love feedback so we can add it. 8\. A unique 4-digit security code will be sent to you at 3pm on the day of your arrival. This number will unlock the main door. The code will expire on the date of your departure. 9\. At Massanutten, trash disposal is the responsibility of the guests. Our digital guide will give directions to the nearby disposal areas. 10\. Massanutten is a beautiful area. It is a mountain, with trees, and pollen, and bugs and lots of wild animals (including bears). Please keep this in mind and prepare appropriately. 11\. The parking area can comfortably fit 6 vehicles. The main part of the parking area has a brief, steep dip at the beginning but the rest is very level to the home, including an accessible incline to the walkway directly to the main entrance. The parking area includes the paved strip along the street as well. 12\. We offer a Platinum pool pass to our guests. You are able to take all guests staying at the home to the private owners outdoor pool off of Peak Drive for free! 13\. During winter, please ensure all vehicles are equipped for unfavorable driving conditions. This includes snow chains. Massanutten does a great job of clearing the road to the house. We pretreat with ice melt, plow the driveway and shovel to the main door. Winter on a mountain can have unexpected storms of various intensity. You can also park at the top of the driveway and walk down to the home when conditions are not favorable. Hand a small snafu trying to get side, but the POC was able to assist and get the door unlocked. The home was decorated beautifully for Christmas as well. There were 9 of us and everyone loved that all the rooms had an en-suite bathroom. And 5 rooms had king beds. The house was clean and new-feeling. The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes and cookware. We ate-in all but one meal. We also used the lovely deck, which had lots of comfortable seating. The location also was good. We've been to other houses in Massanutten where it takes longer to get in/out or where the driveway was treacherous (there is a dip to park, but not as bad as some). The house was just as described with plenty of space for all of us. We enjoyed the hammocks and game room and gathering around the large table for meals. Large outside deck and long table for dinner. We had 15 of us (7 kids 7 and under), and it worked well. Close to Shenandoah National Park and found a great children’s. Museum and splash pad in Harrisburg (1/2 hour away). Neighborhood was hilly, and we enjoyed the quiet area with nightly walks and saw a lot of deer. The beds were comfortable and roomy. The downstairs play area was large and the kids loved it! Clean with functional kitchen. We were all pleased and worked well with our large family gathering. Close to many amenities, state parks and the Shenandoah NP. Chad was super helpful with anything we needed and responded super fast if we contacted him. We had 16 people from 3-70 and we all had our privacy and space throughout the home. Would definitely stay again!!! (Just needs to stock a few extra bath towels ) ##### sara c. The house was perfect. Bedrooms and bathrooms for each family, plus a bunk room for children. Let’s of outdoor living space. I found the home to be comfortable, clean and home like. The decor was beautiful, but was done in mind for rambunctious children. The check in and checkout was very easy. There were plenty of attractions in the area for all ages. The house has plenty of room for a large group. Each large bedroom has a king with its own bathroom. Idea for multiple couples. The lower level has a huge TV room, wet bar, fridge and games. The main level has a gorgeous stone fireplace. Chad was very responsive to my questions and provides a complete guide to the home prior to arrival. The house is almost brand new and the host communication was fast and helpful. All the furnishings are new. Mattresses are firm memory foam. All bedrooms have private bath which is nice. The kids loved the game room in the basement. Kitchen was fully supplied except it needed some mixing bowls. If you are taking your toddlers, make sure to bring portable stair gate, as noted in the listing. Decorations in the house were beautiful for the holidays. The kitchen table easily seated our family of 13\. Overall I would give this house a 10 rating ##### John M.
