The house was immaculate and well stocked. The beds were all comfortable. The property management was easy to work with and very responsive. The checkout to do list was minimal which was nice compared to some places that require you to strip bedding and start laundry. The only downfall was that there was only one bathroom upstairs and with 3 bedrooms upstairs it did get a little crouded at times. We could fit 1 in the garage & 2 in the drive and there was a bit of an issue with pine sap dripping onto the cardAll bedrooms were all comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, cookware & the like,but no sugar, baggies or tinfoil. The grill took a bit of figuring out that you had to light it from a little hole not an igniter. After that it was a breeze. There were plenty of chairs for us to sit out on the deck and enjoy the peaceful view with our morning coffee and evening glasses of wine. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. They provided enough wood so we could use the outside fire pit to roast marshmallows & hot dogs, also for the indoor fireplace which isn’t gas, but we never used. It was such a peaceful location and just a short drive to town ( not that bad of a walk if you’re needing to get your steps in). Just remember to keep your eyes out for the deer that frequent that area. Several times when driving back to the house there were deer noshing on a bush and you didn’t see them until they walked out in front of you. It was wonderful to see the wildlife, just be aware of it. The hot tub was a bit finicky but we’ve alerted them about it -just needs a bit of TLC. It was wonderful to slip into after a day of paddleboarding the meanders. We liked it so much that it’s on our list of places stay the next time we decide to drive up to McCall. ##### Kristi T.
