Our location is a short 10-20 minute drive from main attractions -Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, and Old Man's Cave, this cabin is a perfect place for a family to explore Hocking Hills. Nestled on 5 acres with 1 other cabin you'll be able to enjoy trails on the property as well. This cabin was designed with modern touches and a wall of windows to bring nature to you! The Space: Our wall of windows is the hero of this cabin and the thing we hope makes you say "Wow!" when you walk in. Treat yourself to luxury in cabin form with soaring ceilings, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, gas fireplace, outdoor firepit, great outdoor decks, hot tub, and nature trails. The cabin is designed with an open floor plan for enjoying time together whether it's inside around the fireplace enjoying the view of nature or outside on the large decks on upper and lower level feeling the breeze brush past. You'll love the spacious master suite on the upper level complete with ensuite bathroom with tile shower and direct access to the deck from the room. Downstairs there are two queen bedrooms with sliding door walkout to the lower-level deck. Full bath shared downstairs with double vanity. A common area downstairs is perfect for games or a movie! The hot tub is located on the lower deck for a soak after your day of hiking. We also have nature trails throughout the 5-acre property that you are welcome to walk throughout your stay. Please be mindful of guests that may be staying at the one-bedroom cabin nearby, you do have neighbors. Guest access You'll have full access to the cabin, your own fire pit area and access to trails on the property. Vinton County requires a 6% lodging tax be paid for your stay. Fern Woods for the past 2 years has become one of the best cabins in the Hocking Hills area. We were so appreciative of all the amenities and extras that the cabin had so we only had to venture out once to get the few items that we forgot to bring. I loved sitting by the fire in the morning and loved watching the snow fall from the hot tub. The check in and out process was incredibly simple. The cabin was so bright and comfortable and very clean. The deck and patio area are private and peaceful. The caves and other activities we enjoyed were within 20-25 minutes drive. We loved the wall of windows facing the trees. We saw many bluebirds, cardinals, woodpeckers and more. Close proximity to all the hiking trails of Hocking Hills and really close to Le Petit winery. We loved every minute of our 3 day trip and looked forward to coming home to Fern Woods. The home has little extras throughout the home that are not the standard. The pillows were nice and the bedding was soft. We appreciated having throw blankets on the beds for extra warmth when needed. As soon as you walk in you want to cuddle up on the couch and turn on the fireplace. The huge wall of a window was amazing! The hot tub was big and could fit 5-6 people. 2 decks to enjoy the outside. We loved the shuffle board and games left for guests. The beds were comfortable with high end bedding. We wish we could have stayed longer! The only complaint is that the master bathroom shower didn't have very much pressure. I didn't mind much as everything else was amazing! The owners really put alot of effort into making this cabin perfect and comfortable for your stay. Thanks again for having us as your guests! ##### April S.
