Was in Mazatlan for the holidays. Stayed with friend for 8 days and then four nights at the hotel. The people were fantastic. We loved how it was the middle of the area and we would walk or ride a pulmonía to everything. One thing I didn’t like was that we couldn’t ask for extra towels if we needed, we had to replace the ones we had with new ones. The hotel and pool area are kept super clean and are in good condition. We also appreciated that the hot tube water temperature was actually warm. This is rare in mexico..The staff were all wonderful and a special thank you to Marcos the manager. The negatives were: a little noisy on the Malecon, only two people in hotel spoke english and the internet needs updating. The internet speed was good but it dropped out often requiring resign in. I would also like to recommend to management that they add drawers for clothes storage. Overall though because of the great staff and up keep of hotel we rated this highly. The only English Speaking people are the ones trying to sell you a timeshare. Very noisy place in the evenings until late at night. The room had a very strong disinfectant odor. You get what you pay for. It would be nice if they had English instructions that you need to return the TV remote when checking out. Otherwise, the people appeared mostly friendly. Food in the restaurant was good. Not much in the surrounding area where you can go eat. Pool and hot tub were nice to use every day for the week that wee were there. The AC was very noisy in our room and that turned out to be ok as it blocked out the noise from the street at night. The food in the the restaurant was good albeit a bit on the pricey side. Location was great.
