The Space: Casa Nordica presents a modern, spacious layout for a comfortable stay in the heart of Mazama's outdoor haven. Upon entry, you're greeted by a generously sized entryway, setting the tone for the rest of the home. The main living area boasts ample natural light and views of the surrounding Ponderosa pines through large windows. High ceilings create an open feel, complemented by a cozy gas fireplace perfect for relaxation on the large leather sectional couch or armchairs. The dining table accommodates four comfortably, ideal for meals and gathering. The well-equipped kitchen offers modern appliances and ample counter space for easy meal preparation. Retreat to the primary bedroom with a king-size bed, walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom for privacy and comfort. The Neighborhood: The home boasts a prime location just steps away from the Mazama Store and Trailhead, with the Mazama Public House a short stroll away. Start your day with a coffee and pastry before hitting the trails, or unwind with a pint after a nordic ski or summer hike. For those venturing into North Cascades National Park, it's a convenient 23-minute drive to the Cutthroat Lake trailhead, 25 minutes to Washington Pass, and 29 minutes to Maple Pass (\*drive times based on Google Maps). Perfect for avoiding crowds and securing a parking spot during peak season Getting Around: The location is walking distance from the Mazama Store and Trailhead. Winthrop is under 20 minutes drive / 14 miles south on 20\. Methow Motion provides a private car service throughout the Methow valley. Getting here May to November, from Seattle and the westside, you can drive over State Route 20 and Washington Pass (check WSDOT for closures). Alternate, and winter routes from Seattle are via I90, Snoqualmie Pass and Blewett Pass, or via highway 2 over Stevens Pass (check WSDOT for driving conditions). Combine these routes and you have the scenic Cascade Loop. The nearest major airports are Spokane International Airport at 180 miles (year round) and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (190 miles in summer / 260 miles in winter). Regional flights are also available at Pangborn Memorial Airport in Wenatchee located 102 miles away. Aesthetics of home was beautiful and great linens with a perfect design for outdoor play. The home doesn't have a view from inside but an outdoor spot to enjoy the mountains.
