The only reason we are giving a four star, is because the owner took over three hours to respond to an emergency situation...the front door lock malfunctioned, not allowing entry. We called her numerous times, the security guard called her numerous times, and vrbo called her numerous times. She apologized stating she was "working". While we appreciate the gesture, if she is unable to respond promptly, she needs a back person. Beautiful property with great views. There were so many things available that I felt I over packed. Had user error checking in, but super easy afterwards. Have stayed at other units in Villas Del Faro and this has been the most responsive host.Only minor issues. The laundry in the photos was unavailable which would have been appreciated to know during the welcome text to avoid having to bug the host.The second issue which unsure if the host or if they hire a third party to clean, there were instances of poor quality with the items provided.The Lays chip were expired for 6 months and we decided to toss them. One of the razors (brought my own but you could clearly notice it) was very much used, most likely to remove lint. We were close to where they live so we were able explore and enjoy Maunabo while driving to see them daily. The pool was great as well as the playground for the kids to play on. We enjoyed the beautiful view from every window and the condo was supplied with anything you might need for a great vacation! The area isn’t as developed as other parts of the island so it didn’t feel crowded.
