This hotel is the worst that I have seen in Japan. The bathrooms were filthy, and obviously had not been cleaned in a long time. Mould was everywhere, on the rails, the tiles, the fittings. Insects were all over the bathroom. My friend and I had the exact same issue in both of our rooms. When we made our complaint and showed photos of the room (those attached) we were told that we could not be refunded but would be moved to new rooms. The new rooms were just as bad. Dirty, mouldy, insects everywhere. Instead of money, I was offered two packets of APA curry. When I refused that, the hotel did offer my friend and I complimentary breakfasts, but these were also turned down. After seeing how vile the rooms were, I could not stomach the idea of eating there. I think that the way in which the issues (all on the hotel's part I hasten to add) were handled was a joke.
