Cape Cod Ranch in the Woods

  • Welcome to the newly renovated ranch in the heart of Mashpee with a farmhouse feel. This home is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with brand new hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, wifi, flat screen TVs in the living room, master, and second bedroom. Brand new mini split systems for AC have been installed.

    This home away from home is designed for the comfort of its guests! Patio furniture- chairs and tables are available to sit outside and enjoy the summer air while your pups are running around the fenced in yard. A charcoal grill is available with grilling utensils. Inside you will find an open concept living room filled with game boards, table tennis, and cards. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware and all utensils. A Keurig is available with regular black coffee k-cups provided.

    This home is Close to Old Silver Beach in N.Falmouth, Falmouth Heights Beach, South Cape Beach, and a 2 minute drive to Ashumet Pond Boat Ramp where you can spend your day tubing & soaking up the Cape Cod sun! Check out Mashpee Commons (10 minute drive) for shopping, dinner & entertainment. You will find stores like the Gap, Black and White store, Talbots, Marshalls, Stop & Shop, Game Stop, The Lanes Bowling and Roche Brothers. If interested in going to Nantucket or Martha’s Vineyard, the ferry is located 15 minutes away.

    We are kid friendly! A pack & play, bumbo with a tray, and a baby gate is available for renters in the front closet.

    Have some fun in the sun! 4 beach towels, beach toys and a cooler are ready for use in the front closet.

    A safe is available and located in the master bedroom closet!

    If a power outage during a storm- an emergency kit is available. 4 lanterns, 2 candles, 1 flashlight, portable charger, batteries, and a lighter.

    Renters are welcome to bring their boat, jet ski, Ect. Just drive them down to the boat ramp and put them in the water! (NO permit needed)

    Golfing: Quashnet Valley Golf Club, New Seabury Golf Club, Willowbend Golf Club, Oyster Harbors Club, and Holly Ridge Golf Course, Brookside Country Club.

    Driveway fits 6 vehicles.

    Pets are welcome, 6ft fence around the entire house. Back yard includes a seating area!.

Great location, very convenient

We had a great stay here. Easy checkin/checkout, the place was clean and had a great layout for a small group of friends.

Dog friendly house in the woods

The host said she'd text us with check in info when we booked- never did; I had to text HER the day before for key code info, etc. I asked if it was possible to enter home earlier; she said she'd "get back to me"- never did. Beds were terrible- creaky and cheap. Shower had black mold on ceiling. We bought plastic utensils and used paper plates because silverware had old crusty residue on it. Neighbor on property had a floodlight on all night that lit up the 2 bedrooms. Be aware there's a possibility of shared WiFi that may be able to access your logged in accounts. At 3 am the TV came on by itself and said that someone was logging in.

Just what we were looking for

My criteria were clean, updated, excellent a/c, one floor with few steps at the entrance and pet friendly, and this Cape on the Cape suited us perfectly. The house was very clean and comfortable. Our stay was bookended by Hurricane Henri and a heat wave. Katelynn was quick to supply us with an emergency kit in case the power went out (fortunately, the hurricane missed the Cape and it wasn't an issue!) The house was very pleasing both in terms of amenities and layout. Very much appreciated the host's attention to detail that makes a stay here very enjoyable.

Beautiful property - easy and clean!

This was our first time at the Cape, and it was a last minute decision to try to make a trip out with family in town. We found this property and it was better than we could have imagined. Often pet-friendly properties are less clean, but not this one. Everything was spotless, up-to-date, and welcoming. Easy drive to so many beaches, great food nearby, and excellent communication with our host. Hope we'll be back sometime!

A quick but good overnight

Katelyn's place was what we needed for a quick overnight. We got in fairly late (about 10:30 pm) and actually left a little later than we'd planned in the morning (8:45 am), so we basically just used the main bedroom and the bathroom. That's what we needed, so it was perfect for us, though it would've been fun to have had time to use the nice kitchen. Because it was nighttime when we arrived, we didn't see the house no. but realized it was the place because of the wooden fence Katelyn had mentioned in her instructions about getting in. We only had one other small issue, when we couldn't get the bathroom door to open, but Katelyn was super responsive. It was quite late, but I wrote her an email (hoping she'd see it) and reminded her of my phone no., and before I turned around my phone was ringing and she walked me through how to slide the door open, and all was well! So, thanks for everything, Katelyn, and sorry I left my loofah in the bedroom; I realized it when it was too late to go back for it - oh well.

Great, cozy little house

Great 2br house with a nice fenced in yard, perfect for a small family vacation. House is clean and updated and feels very welcoming. Minutes from Falmouth beaches and a short 20-30 minute drive to hyannis area. Property owner was wonderful communicating and responded promptly to all inquiries. Definitely recommend this property!
