The motel was clean and seemed to be maintained alright, thought it was very dated. That's about all I can say was good.
Everything about the place felt as though they took the absolutely cheapest option possible, with little or no consideration for the guests. The whole building felt lik a double-wide trailer. The floors were nothing but a thin piece of plywood of joists, with very thin, cheap, carpet that did nothing to deaden the sound.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, it felt like a few cheap springs with a thin pad over the top. And the pillows were cheap, bulky foam that had not give and ended up giving me a sore neck. There were only 6 channels on the tv, most of them I think were UHF, and only one of the major networks. The tv itself was old 720p and low quality pictures.
The bath towels were tiny, about as thin as a paper towel and as soft as 80 grit sandpaper.
There was no front desk, you had to walk across the parking lot to a super club to check in or ask a question, as nobody ever picked up when I tried to call the front desk. If you weren't checked in my 8 pm, or needed entry after that, you were out of luck.
As for convenience and amenities, there were none, The motel is 5 miles from the nearest town, so you had nothing closeby, and what was in town closed by 8 pm. The Kwik Trip was the only thing that was open past 8.
All-in-all, this was a ridiculously bad, cheap motel. Like I said, it was clean, and that was about.
Woman at check in was very nice and friendly. The room was very clean, there was even an extra pillow and blanket in the room! The bed was very comfy, and there were plenty of towels. Hotel was very quiet. I will definitely stay here again!
Out in the country, quiet. Room was clean and well furnished. Hard to get ahold of the staff to book additional nights. Check in-time was NOT communicated via the website. (Had to be there before 8 pm!!)

We stayed at Fannies because of the reviews. We were kinda disappointed. I'm confident it's haunted. There are maybe 10 channels on the small tv. The room was big and cute but the actual facilities are dated and you can feel it. On the flip side, what a gorgeous view. The staff are sweet and work hard to make you comfortable. It wasn't bad but, I'd probably sleep at the Super 8 up the street next time.
Fannies is not a typical chain style hotel. It takes you back in time a little. So if you’re not into that kind of thing, you may be put off this place. To me, it kind of reminds me of staying with an old, eccentric aunt. It’s not updated, but clean. The beds aren’t that great, and the water comes out at a trickle… but what the heck? Neillsville isn’t exactly a vacation destination. We were there visiting family, and Fannies supper club has pretty good food - bonus!
It was weird to check in at the bar and have the bartender give me a key, but other than that the motel was quaint, clean, comfortable and roomy. For the price, it is a great value. It's close to town, but you have the privacy of country. I wish we had tried the restaurant. Beautiful location!
The room was immaculately clean. I've stayed at way more expensive hotels that were not as clean as this motel's room. More pillows would be nice and the mattress was not very comfortable BUT.....the service was impeccable and our waitress at the restaurant, Kelly, was amazing. We told her we really needed a roll away bed but were told they were being tossed because they were old and crappy. Kelly told us that they just got brand new ones in and she would make sure we had one ASAP and she was true to her word. By the time we got back to our room, the cleaning lady had just finished setting up the roll away and making it up with clean sheets and a bedspread! Definitely worth staying there again and the food at Fannies was so good. Definitely 5 stars for everything!!
The motel right next to the restaurant is a big bonus. Great food and relaxing drinks with no driving afterward is a no brainer. I've stayed there through two ownerships and glad it is still open.
Needed a budget friendly room for 3 nights. Definitely low cost. Although a bit dated, it had all the basics we needed and you can't ask for much more than that. Hotel help was extremely friendly and helpful. Will be using again in the near future.

This was our second time staying here for the Clark County Fair. We do like Fannie's for the price and the quiet. The room was nice and we had plenty of space. We both had a reaction to the water from the shower and we couldn't get the Satellite TV to work, or if it isn't connected we weren't told that. We also had to hunt down the WiFi password. More information for the customer would be nice.
Fannies supper club I give a A . Their Motel is a big F-. Very dirty. Soap scum all of bottom tub. Water damage under sink area, dust every where, left over food and crumbs in all chairs and drawers. All chairs stained bad, bed very uncomfortable, sheets stained, towels stained, bed skirt nasty, old gross not old cool! I wiped as much as I could down and still felt gross! We had 2 rooms and both were gross and our friend checked out early cause it was so bad. They did refund his 1 night he didn’t stay. Very friendly staff and great food, looks like all money goes into supper club not motel.
Small country motel. A bit dated but clean and comfortable and just what I needed for a one night stay. You need to check in at the supper club bar. The woman who helped me was very friendly and check in was a breeze. Would gladly stay at Fannie's again when in the area.
Conveniently located just outside Neillsville with quick access to Marshfield. Mapleworks Cafe and Bar in nearby Granton provides an excellent breakfast to start your day and Fannies Supper Club provides a great evening meal. Wonderful and friendly people in the surrounding neighborhoods and farms.
