Completely renovated in 2022, its 4 terraces with sea view, its air conditioning and its 80 m2 will make it the ideal place for your stay in Marseille. Located in a typical Marseilles neighbourhood, it is the ideal place to enjoy the gentle life of Marseilles: beaches, walks in the calanques. For a quick swim, it's just across the street, otherwise the Maronaise beach is a 5 minute walk away. At the entrance to the Calanques National Park, many restaurants and bars are nearby. Composition of the house: Exterior: The house is located on a rocky plot, so you enter from the outside and a 1st terrace ideal for meals with sea view welcomes you. On the right a second terrace in the first line on the sea will be perfect to perfect your tanning. A third terrace is accessible from one of the bedrooms upstairs. Exiting through the back of the house you will have access to the roof terrace and its breathtaking view. The ground floor: You enter the house in a large room organized in 3 parts: A fully equipped open kitchen A dining area A lounge area with a flat screen TV From the ground floor you have access to 2 terraces Entresol: On the mezzanine floor a large bathroom with shower and toilet 1st floor: The sleeping area offers 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet A double bedroom with access to the terrace and sea view: the postcard A double room with access to the rock One bedroom with bunk bed for children Roof terrace: The roof terrace is accessible for a new sea view. Geographical location: Les Goudes is a mythical district in Marseille, along with Callelongue, it is the southern end of Marseille, a real small fishing port, unique as the end of the world in the 2nd city of France. A song is even dedicated to this district praising the experience, the Marseilles dream, of "spending a Sunday at the tidal pools" with family or friends... La Maronaise is a small beach, but was also a mythical open-air nightclub where some people had the chance to spend fantastic summer nights, nostalgia... Transport: RTM bus n°19 - direction Madrague de Montredon to the terminus, then 20 - direction Callelongue, stop Les Goudes. In season, the RTM maritime shuttles also allow you to go from the Vieux-Port to Les Goudes via the Pointe Rouge. The road along the southern coast of Marseille is often congested, even very congested at peak times and at weekends, particularly during the summer season, and sometimes as early as the Pointe Rouge. The village is then congested with traffic. It is therefore strongly advised to use public transport or bicycles during off-peak hours. Excellent location if you enjoy being on the water. Beautiful sunsets! The village of Les Goudes is a very beautiful spot, but it helps to be fluent in French especially if you want to go to the restaurants there. The Calenques National Park is a wonder. I highly recommend seeing them from a private boat. Look up Bleu Evasion and ask for Skipper Christophe. He took very good care of us. Hiking is also a great way to see the calenques, but the hike back is very challenging. Don’t rent a car as there is no reserved parking spot and navigating Route de La Maronaise is more trouble than it’s worth. The washing machine is small and wasn’t cleaned. Our clothes came out dirtier than they went in. Check out Cocoonr.fr for more rentals in Marseille. La Maronaise "Nous avons passé un incroyable séjour en famille dans cette maison située aux Goudes, quartier/village de pêcheurs situé aux portes du centre de Marseille (25 minutes en voiture pour le Vieux port) Nous cherchions la quietude, la douceur hivernale, le soleil, la mer et la nature, nous avons été servi. Une colline à l arrière de la maison pour admirer les levers et couchers et des randonnées à couper le souffle. Une vrai sensation de bout du monde. La maison est parfaitement équipée. Draps, serviette de bain, ustensiles de cuisine, chauffage ou clim selon la saison, TV, wifi. Quelques resto accesibles à pied mais c'est mieux d'être véhiculés. Mais attention aux excès de confiance. Si vous prenez la voiture pour effectuer des visites, même dans les Calanques n'y laisser aucune valeurs. Les parkings ne sont pas surveillés et les vols sont courants. Nous avons vécus cette malheureuse expérience le dernier jour. Le contact avec l'agence au top, aimable, à l'écoute !
