My group needed a place to stay for our half dome trip/hike and we loved it! So spacious and we all had our own rooms! I'm always crazy about having an entire kitchen as I always pack lots of food and have a particular diet and way of cooking so I was especially pleased to have a nice kitchen with everything! We wish we could have stayed an extra day to just relax and truly enjoy everything even more. But we did enjoy waking up after the big hike and enjoying breakfast on the back patio before we had to pack up and leave. Everything was very comfortable and in tip top shape. The host was especially kind and always responded to my questions very quickly and was very reliable. I would highly recommend this spot! Also... loved that there are lots of deer nearby the property that we got to see while driving. ##### Monica Z. Excellent home for your Yosemite adventures. Relatively close to the park, and only about five miles to Mariposa. The house was tidy, clean, and well appointed. The back deck is a great place to relax with a drink after a day at Yosemite. We found the rental a private place to enjoy the golden California sunsets. We also saw a few turkeys, deer, and a coyote. Mariposa is a cute little town. The nature outside was wonderful with deer and a great view. I was unaware the property was on gravel. The few things we have to critique were many of the dishes we used were dirty. The towels did not smell good. The trash bin to drop trash in at check out was disgusting and had not been picked up in a long time. There was barely room for our trash, there were maggots on the bin, and the smell was terrible. ##### Rachael K. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and soaking in the hot tub under the starlight. Space was open and we loved the layout of the house. The fireplace was such a sweet addition to warm up the kitchen and living room. We enjoyed the hot tub and it was the perfect place to see the moon come up from the mountain and the VIEW! We were able to see the snow top covered mountains. Everything was perfect and we were able to enjoy the property with our own privacy. The last bit of the ride to the house is unpaved dirty road but we had no issues getting there even under the rain. Parking was plenty!
