The apartment on the 2nd floor offers a comfortable living room, a well-equipped kitchen with dish washer, 2 bedrooms, one bathroom as well as an additional toilet. It can therefore accommodate 5 people. Amenities also include Wi-Fi and cable TV. The outdoor area boasts a beautiful furnished balcony with a fantastic view of the mountain panorama. Families, hikers, bikers and winter sports enthusiasts find the location of the holiday apartment "Steinernes Meer" particularly convenient. Due to the ideal location of the property, shops, restaurants, bars and cafés are only 600 m away. There are also numerous skiing and hiking areas within a radius of 1.5 km. Here you can spend great holidays with your loved ones all year round! The holiday apartment is located in a farmhouse in a sunny and quiet location, in the valley and at 160 m access from the Hockkönigstrasse. To the centre of (600 m) Maria Alm and to the ski lifts (400 m) to the Hochkönig region (120 km of slopes) you can reach in about 10 minutes on foot (ski school, rental, shops, restaurants). The well-known and year-round open glacier skiing area Kitzsteinhorn can be reached by car in about 20km. A bus stop is located in about 170 m distance. The Tauern Cycle Path leads directly past the farm. In the summer you can also enjoy a free open-air swimming pool (in the Sommerstein adventure pool), daily guided hikes are offered. It is a family partner business where children are very welcome. Young guests are welcome to take part in the Schlawutzel children's programme of the TVB Maria Alm free of charge. A playground, many petting animals and the farm offer children lots of entertainment and experiences on the farm. The hosts live in the same house and are happy to provide information about the vacation region. The house is heated with its own wood with the help of a woodchip heating system provided by the landlord himself. The hosts attach importance to a sustainable management of the organic farm. The sunbathing lawn (with garden furniture and barbecue) invites you to sunbathe during the day, or in the evening - to complete your holiday day in a cheerful atmosphere. Parking spaces are available on the property. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony or in the outdoor area. In the apartment a baby bed is additionally possible! Pets are not allowed. The Hochkönig-Card is included in the price. A storage room for sports equipment and a drying room for shoes and clothes are in the house. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und nett. Es gab auch viele Tiere rundherum. Wir machten abends öfters Spaziergänge in den nahen Ort. Es gibt generell viele Aktivitäten die man in der Gegend machen kann. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es zahlreich. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. ##### Markus H.
