Family friendly and pet friendly. The Country Cottage This is a unique and beautiful rustic old mud-brick cottage only 5 minutes drive from town centre. The cottage is down a winding gravel drive nestled in amongst a rambling garden full of birds kangaroos and the occasional possum. This unique open plan cottage has an open aired garden bathroom, a huge book collection covering a large variety of genres, board games and puzzles. It has a fully equipped kitchen and fireplace for winter. Margaret River is in the heart of the famous wine, surf and mountain bike riding region. Kangaroos, birds and close to forest trails. Loved the outdoor shower and shelves of books, great coffee and plenty of staples. This beautiful little hideaway is everything I wanted and more, more spacious than in the photos, and so well equipped, there is a TV and DVD player (love it that my teenagers rummaged through the DVDs to find a film to watch, they thought it was half the fun! The fire was packed and ready to go when we got there, and the beds were so comfy. The bathroom was awesome! A hideaway and semi-outdoors. All facilities were available, a cooker, washing machine and dryer, all came with supplies, cooking was a breeze, and many essentials were already in the kitchen.
