The kitchen is very well organized and has everything you need to do as much or as little cooking as you like. The house was immaculately kept and nicely decorated. Kitchen nicely appointed, appliances new, and there was a choice of two types of coffee makers and plenty of mugs for coffee. Some paper towels, napkins, trash bags and TP were furnished along w/dish detergent & laundry soap. A big help. Adding a couple of forks more would be welcome. The beds are ok; a little squeaky. There is room for a king size bed that would be more comfortable for those 6’ tall. The a/c worked beautifully, but pre-set temps seemed to have the am/pm reversed. It got warm after 12:15am and cooled off around noon. The canal is certainly deep enough. I don’t think a vessel longer than our 31’ could turn around in the canal. Also, it was a tight squeeze between larger boats next door and directly across the canal from each other. But access to the Atlantic is easy. The water is, as always, gorgeous. If you rent this place, make sure you bring additional cleaning supplies (including bathroom soap) and maybe a larger cooking pan as those provided will be minimal. Also ask in advance about the backyard deck facilities if you plan on using those, as everything there was disabled when we had our rental; which was okay. The owners/property managers take pride in maintaining this very nice property, and deserve our support.
